I got out of Straits Asia (albeit too early, average 1.30+) and went straight into Midas.

No regrets except that this recent mild run is baffling me....with so many contracts, I'd expect heavier volume and better run-ups in prices.

Could it be the S-Shares issue? Or sell on news? Maybe something else?

Thanks for any update.

From OCBC:

Midas Holding: Wins another RMB172m in contracts

Midas Holdings has secured two additional contracts worth RMB172m, to

supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles for a total of 480 train cars for

inter-city high-speed train projects with speeds up to 350km/h. Both

contracts were awarded by CNR Tangshan Railway Vehicles, a repeat

customer of the Group. On top of the original 1,600 train cars that Midas

has already been contracted to supply for the "CRH3-380" project as

announced on 16 June 09, this latest contract brings the total number of

train sets Midas is supplying for this project to a total of 120 train sets, or

1,920 train cars. These contracts are expected to have a positive financial

impact on its financial position. Maintain BUY rating and fair value of S$0.85.

Wow! Great! More contracts for Midas!

(1)Stochastic for Midas is 70.833 and (2)Williams is -26.923. (3)From the Bollinger bands, we can see the price is follow the upper band. Besides, with high volume traded after 5pm, definitely good sign on it... Huat ah!

buy on rumor, sell on news. opportunities for both buy and sell traders. each surge provide an exit for profit taking while also offer opportuities to use our short guns to maximise profits. loading my short gun again.. waiting to fire.
