Agree with u sharemoney, BioT is a good company but....a big but, with bad Management. If I've a choice, I'd rather put my money in a bad company with good Management. Cheers!

Hi Nostradamus, tks for your reply. truly appreciate your comments here. Even though I bought 2 lots, the feelings of getting into the playing field really gives me the kicks which I would probably not get elsewhere.

Hi chipchip66. Since Merrill Lynch and Citigroup have price targets of $0.70 and $0.71 respectively, I believe these would provide support. Could rebound near these levels. But I doubt it'll reach $0.90 any time soon. The management's credibility is at stake here.

Astute comment teeth53. Sometimes despite the fundamentals hedge funds with the almost unlimited resources can temporarily distort the true picture by triggering emotional volatility - fear and greed. I wonder how many have followed their modus operandi during the Asian financial crisis in 1998 to 1999 when a few huge western hedge funds joined ranks to devastate the currencies and stock markets of the S E Asian nations and H K. They had their time in the beginning causing untold economic damages to many individuals and nations until H K with Chinese backings broke their backs by calling their "bluffs". Ever heard of the Quantum and Tiger funds who subsequently folded? In our small ways we can use common sense and call their "bluffs" too. Look at the real fundamentals away from the crowds and study the "house researches and calls" with a pinch of salt if it gets too emotional and suspicious. I think you are seeing similar phenomena being parlayed about now with the China stocks - common sense and emotional stability always help.

Citi grp (AngMo) has its rating on BioT from "sell/medium risk" to "sell/high risk" as they believes may not be able to recover from the recent dent in its credibility due to the delay in informing investors about poorer earnings prospects. (When the chip is down they will said is down, very easy isin't, play on ppl fear and what then can buy alot cheaper to report big profit margin isit!! (here is where it think about poorer earning propects!!! and here i believe they {BioT mgt is honest enough}, it earning prospects is intactWho do U want to believe in ????....Angmo or  CIMB-GK. Px bte $0.71 to tp px $0.89 cts. Angmo will be back with a strong buy when their tp is within reach.
"Management credibility has been impacted and the mkt will not only focus on the negative earnings surprise but will probably also have a view on how the whole communication process was handled,"
"Coupled with the major past issues re stock options and auditor change, Bio-Treat could see a further de-rating," it added.

Ya, i believe it is only a blip on this counter. I think when the price moves, it will really shoot up catching many buyers off-guard.Of course there will be selling resistance when the time comes but it will be well absorbed by the market as weak holders would have exited by then.

News on Asia water may have deflected BioT share px  which traded at 18 X, given the uncertainty for today mk. BioT book order is at 1.7 bil yuen remain intact in big business, guess u may be rite after been sold down, guess alot of them may get caught by it down turn same goes to C.paper and BioS.. it will do it recovery climb slowly (not a stock for punting,  CIMB-GK has upgraded its rating for Bio-T to "neutral" from "trading sell" with a px tp of $0.89).

Well said. Savvysamyeo " it always work for the good ones", "good stocks always redeem themselves". Those whom has bot at above a dollars can now have a chance to redeem this stock at it old px. I see a chance to make some kopi $$$ back for those who bot on a high. Personnally i do experience with one fundimental stock (comfortDergro) many years back, it was traded down to about $0.60cts, in btw give 1-2 bonus, plus about 6% dividend yields and now going for $1.50 (average). I alway use to look out for such stock in my old days and even now, every i am still learning and trying to fine tune my tot to more presision and high level, still bottom line verse is some profit, take some and leave some for other.

Wise counsel Teeth 53. Notwithstanding short term gyrations stocks kept long term still the best form of wealth building. In 1978 during the oil shocks  you can get DBS for less than $2. Look at the rewards now  not counting the bonuses and div. My opinion is the China story is going to go on for the next 20 years and more ( like what Spore was in the 1970s ), identify growth stocks with good fundamentals & credentials ( I guess those that pass scrutiny by our SES are safe bets ) and lock it up. There will seldom be regrets this way. Be patient and keep emotions under control - good stocks always redeem themselves.

OOP!!! sorry the word should read instead of 6clicks is 3cents down or 3 cents up if it is below a dollar.

Now if  it trade is done at $0.77 cents  which is below a dollar(one click down is half a cents, 6 clicks is 3 cents down or 6 cents up and if px is above a dollar- it mean 6 cents down or it also mean 6 cents up). So at last teading px of $0.77, it mean U can place ur bid at $0.74 (77-74= -3 cents) and if U think $0.74 cents is a good px to enter. To buy or sell, buy and sell at a very small scale of say less then 5 lots and the money is well within your mean to hold comfortably.

Good Luck to those who're vested and my advice is to thread carefully in trouble waters.  One more poor showing (the slightest) will surely bring this counter to the bottom as Investors are mostly not very forgiven. Cheers!!!!
