Is Biosensors a good buy?

CEO talking now. Talking about acquisition of JW and Indonesian company. China DES explosive demand story with 90% DES, 10% BMS. TCT2007 CREATE 2000 patients impressed analysts with EXCEL's very good clinical results. Indonesia, PT Farmia has access to 390 government hospitals. PT Fondaco good network to private hospitals in Indonesia.

Late thrombosis issue delayed CE. Biomatrix showed good results but also kena delayed. Biodegredable polymer will be the next wave in DES. Biomatrix will be first such DES to launch in EU. No late-thrombosis up till now for all clinical clincal. NOBORI 1 ph 2 has shown superiority with all endpoint measurements. All clinical trials have shown good safety record. Up till now, over 400 patients implanted for over 3 years with no late-thrombosis problem. 

CFO speaking. Currently has no additional questions from CE. Last submitted NOBORI to CE. FDA asked for more animal trials data for IDE approval, BIG submitted already.  

 

YEAH!!! CHEERS TO ALL LONG TERM INVESTORS!!!

There will always be shortists around.  People will short any stock, not just BIG, if they want to.  I do feel however that a lot of people talk cork about shorting becasue unless you have borrowed scrips on hand, which kacang putih retail trader will dare short?  Maybe short 1 lot lah - no big deal. 

This is my long term investment.   The daily ups and downs dont really matter to me.   Have a look at the managment team.  These are serious business people.

For long term investors like me, my appreciation and kudos to bengster for his contributions.

As expected, nothing major in their Q results.... No CE announcement also..... This would have definitely disappointed some... so there is this large selling....

 

Probably more selling than buying

So many Buy Volume, why the price still drop? Unless I am mistake the B and the S meaning.

 

 

 

I also duno leh. Later lunch time i listen to their global investor live conference at 12.30pm then give immediate field report. Today no CE doesn't mean this week no CE. Once BIG receive CE letter in Netherlands, they have to HALT the shares immediately. The last time BIG kena fock by SGX for delay in announcement. BIG said they need to translate the European language to English in the CE letter so announcement was delayed from Friday to Monday.

What do you think will be the emphasis of today's investor conference? Hopefully some good news to announce...??

 

A lot of forumers here already bought BIG cheap before the huge run up on 29/10. Don't have to buy now and chase the stock. But don't have to sell now also because i feel CE coming soon. The best thing is to wait a while more for main course to arrive. It will be a very sumptuous one. The reason why the share price historically weak and still reporting losses is because BIG cannot commercialise their flagship product due to CE delay. We know Biomatrix will be an "Yi Pao Er Hong" hit for BIG. Biomatrix's stent performance (super low restenosis and zero late-thrombosis) performance will still be legendary even years down the road. But if you want to trade, you really have to trade with care.

I don't want to spoil your party but please do not expect anything great today from the results... there is NO CE anoouncement today and results are also not that great apart from their recent trial results which we are already aware.... TRADE WITh CARE.....

 

 

Although I am not vested in this counter, I believe he have posted with good intention. It is for people who are interested to have a reference and find out more before you purchase.

 

wah...u mean the show started.... i was planning to have a front seat ...get my pop corn & coke ready.... and see how the show pan out....

this will be the real test for BIO...... i really respect BengSTAR for making all these calls.... if it turn out well..ppl will salute him.... and goes the other way... i sure he will get lots of nasty remarks... BUT GUYS no one use a gun to point at ur head to buy, is ur own decision ... and let the show begans..

 

Yeah.. Huat ah.. prediction came true.. share of tis counter up up and away on Monday, despite all other counters in RED SEA....

BBs snapping up now! Rebounded from a low of 0.845 to 0.875.

Predict another cheong after 12:00 p.m.!!!
