Is Biosensors a good buy?

Better sell now then to hold a counter that C.E date is uncertain !

 

My previous best guess was end Oct but it was already over. No one, not even BIG's CEO, can put a confirm date because he is not the one writing the approval letter. But there was verbal confirmation from CE, however with no mention of date. CE was so impressed with NOBORI's results that they said it Biomatrix will be approved. So i think its only a matter of time when BIG formally receive the letter. But better don't buy now case ang moh play punk and delay again, don't sell now in case CE letter really come in soon.

Bengster68, you should not be overly bullish and put a date on the CE. You have put a date on the CE many times, and it did not materialise. Biosensor is a Good Stock, CE will come soon, I am invested for the long haul!

 

 

Dcang84, advise you not to short. anytime this counter will halt as CE is around the corner.

 

I like this counter. Free flow of information and opinions. So is it time to short? You reckon we hit T.P-70 cents?

Today is a Dumping day. Everyone dump. You will see most counters all RED.

tks bengster for the summarize. Indeed.. BIG management do believe and hope that the CE Mark could b obtained by End Nov. However, got to be conservative.. if not.. sure ganna whack and curse upside down if didn't make it..

 

The CFO hinted that it might be in Jan 2008. He said CE takes 12 to 13 weeks for a reply. I know CE normally takes 8 to 12 weeks for a reply. This CFO, being an accountant, is practicing the "principles of conservatism" in accounting law, esp when making much focussed public statements like CE approval, which are beyond BIG's control. He has to be very conservative in his estimates. CE now has no more questions to BIG. The last round CE wanted NOBORI data and BIG submitted already. Note that NOBORI's last patient enrollment was 15/10/2006, 9 months trial means data measurement on 15/07/2007 for last patient. We give them another one and half months for data compilation, meaning 9 months NOBORI data should be ready and submitted to CE on early September 2007. Now almost mid-Nov and almost 10 weeks after NOBORI submission. Internally, BIG expect CE to come out in November. But they will never say that in public and will try to be as conservative as possible otherwise kena fock by shareholders again if miss the Nov internally expected CE date (esp after being delayed for so long).

I will continue to hold my position in BIG.

Indeed.. to each it's own. the believer will continue to hold.. and vice versa. de planning and docs that required approval to market BioMatrix had aredi been done and ready to be submitted to that BIG could penetrate Europe, Indonesia and China. Without further questioning from panel, CE Mark should be obtainable within this month. Having said all these, it's up to the investors to decide.

I wish all long faithful BIG's Fan, including myself, laughing all the way when HALT appeared.

 

Lets not get caught in the cross fire between the doubters and the believers.   In every stock all over the world, bound to have those who believe and those who dont.  Lets agree to disagree.   If you disagree, do whatever it is that gives you a kick.  Its your money.

 

Now, coming back to BIG - what caught my eye about what Bengster wrote is that the CE panel has currently "no more questions".  Sounds good.

Further, do a check on the CFO for BIG.  He is no small fry.  Like i said, this company has serious people on board.  In these turbulent market conditions, I will put my money in a serious company with a serious managment team.
