Even with that reversal sign shown yesterday , RafflesEdu did not show any continuous uptrend pattern . Instead it formed a shooting star which suggested that its momemtum was ending at closing .It may go down to fill the gap created today very likely

REC must have own 100% of UOC, and by selling 10% of it at 62.5 million. and planning to list OUC together with the msian investor, khazanah, does it mean that UOC is worth 625million? Does that mean a huge profit coming for REC?

Bloomberg says shares of Raffles Education Corp. climbed by most in almost one year after Malaysian state-linked investment company Khazanah Nasional Bhd agreed to buy a 10% of its wholly-owned unit Oriental University City.

Khazanah will pay $62.5 million for the stake in the unit, which operates a campus with about 36,000 students in China’s Hebei Province, Raffles said. The stock surged 14% to 39.5 cents as of 9:20 a.m., the steepest gain since Feb 27.

good thing about REC is that it is still the biggest education group in Asia. having colleges and institution all over many developing countries is a good thing. students population will grow. parents are also willing to pay for a good english based education especially in countries like china and vietnam. huge population. i believe huge growth.
