can't comment about all your other point except (4). For one, it did what the government couldn't. That's bringing in Universal Studio. For years, govt has been wooing Uni Studio to come in, but was not successful. Other bigger and more well established companies who did not win Sentosa IR can only blame themselves for not understanding what the 'buyer' wants. You can have the best restaurants, best chef, best architecture whatever but no crowd pulling power. All these beautiful things will just end up as White Elephants. Don't we have quite a few of these big animals already in the past? Good thing that the govt wised up this time round.
Seriously who cares what price this counter should be. As long as the counter can provide traders with opportunities to make $$$, that is all needed.
Looking at the trades done so far, this counter has given swing/momentum traders abundant opportunities to make sacks of $$$. Don't be a long term planter here, just go in with big lots and quickly get out when the price move a few cents up. Wait for it to drop, then go in again with the same trick. Can easily do up to 10 trades per month on this counter alone. Chia buay liao already!
