Using cfd is playing within the house and it doesnt affect the market because your buy/sell orders dont reflect in the actual trades on the screen. The house fund manager will hedge your order.
DMA reflects the actual trades. That means your buy or sell order will reflect on the screen available to the public. Just like trading normally but commission rate is higher than using cfd and if i m not mistaken is same as normal trading. The beauty of DMA is that you can short but like shorting using cfd, you need to pay interests.
Not all companies can be shorted or long in cfd or DMA pool of counters. Especially pennies from catalist category.
That is what i know and may be wrong as i dont have the latest update. Can any experts verify?
