Friend Infancybird, you are not small investor with millions of your shares vested. Friend starlene is also not small. You didn't say at what target price you will sell Bionsensors to realize profit. It doesn't pay dividends. So how will you make money if you buy and don't sell?

Good news for Bio investors...... this morning the company launched its 1st MTN ,value at SGD 200 million with a rate of about 5.2% maturing in 4 years. Currently it is over subscribed by 450 million . I am in and the hot money pouring in is still growing. Tomorrow book close. This is good indication of investor confident and chasing the good yield.  Now Bio will have sufficient cash and share ammo to launch an acquisition .likely to  take place  in Feb/March 2013. Hopefully by then stk will Shiongg & shiongg.
PLAN... its time to start accumulate.

I hope u are right but my view is that the i-seller will force it back down to 1.22 till their insider mgt BB announces its M& A. Tomorrow Bio  will finish at SGD 1.22 with just barely a few hundred thousand share sale  , thats the problem with Bio, so easy to manipulate. Poor us small retail investors. Sigh.!!

Heavy suppression is taking place around 4pm. This i-seller is very determined to press and block. Currently block is at 1.24. Looks like today will finish at 1.235

Today, just like last few trading weeks, the i-block set up by the insider BB`s i-seller is still there. My take is that its time to accumulate but expect no price upward movement ( becasue its fix/keep at 1.22 to 1.24 level by the BB) till the mgt announce their usage of the new MTN 800 millions and also the use of the newly issured  shares at ? price.

good news, we will know who short Bio in future after March 2013
SINGAPORE: The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has issued new guidelines on short-selling disclosure on Wednesday. This follows an earlier announcement from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on January 8 that it will enable tagging of securities orders which involve short selling from March 2013. SGX will also be publishing daily reports on the total value and volume of short sales for each counter. MAS said its guidelines clarify market participants' obligations to accurately disclose their short selling activities. The central bank said information on short sale transactions help to deter market abuse by alerting authorities to activities that may potentially disrupt the orderly functioning of markets, and aids in investigation and enforcement.

From UBS, FYI
Asian healthcare: caring for half the world
Fiscal austerity and shrinking growth rates in the developed world
suggest that global healthcare spending growth will become a
major casualty. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU),
global healthcare spending per head will grow 4% in 2013, half the
average of the decade before the global financial crisis. Asia, in
contrast, is expected to shift into a higher growth gear of
healthcare spending over the next few years. EIU estimates
that total Asian consumer expenditure will grow 13% a year
between 2011 and 2016 compared to 10% from 2001 to 2011.
The key reason for this is demographic as the aging burden enters a
critical phase. Asia's population of 4.1bn is growing by around 1%
each year however, the 65-and-above demographic will rise
50% by 2020. Over the next 20 years, China alone will see 200mn
people reach the age of 60 or above. This and a trend towards
greater longevity are the major reason for the rise in Asian
healthcare spending from its current low base.
We are especially comfortable promoting healthcare stocks at this
juncture because demand growth is structural and relatively secure
compared to other industries. Our Most Preferred stocks include
Mindray Medical and Shandong Weigao in China and Raffles
Medical and Biosensors International in Singapore.
