I dun c anything bad abt tis announcement.. guess bengster68 would b a better person to comment.

Being paid higher prices for the same drug, compare to last agreement - is good. It aso indicated that their drugs are truely good, thus adoption of new agreement.

It aso proven tat BIG is confident in getting CE if not, this agreement will b voided. BIG aso protects it's reputation, to terminate supply to Xtent if they failed to obtain CE after 1yr of signing revised agreement.

de oni area i dun noe is how it will affect BIG since they no longer have the exclusive rite to market Xtent in certain Pacific Rim countries.

ANNOUNCEMENT

BIOSENSORS INTERNATIONAL GROUP, LTD.

(Incorporated in Bermuda)

(Company Registration Number: EC 24983)

BIOSENSORS AND XTENT AMEND AGREEMENT

Biosensors International Group, Ltd announced that its subsidiary, Biosensors Europe S.A. and

its licensee, XTENT, Inc. (?XTENT?) have amended the license agreement that was entered

into in May 2004 under which XTENT has the right to use Biosensors? Biolimus A9? and PLA

biodegradable drug coating with its Custom NX? drug eluting stent system.

Under the terms of the revised agreement, XTENT has obtained the right to purchase the drug

and polymer components of the drug coating from Biosensors for the sole purpose of mixing

its own formulation and coating XTENT?s stents with such formulation for the use and sale in

XTENT?s licensed field of use. XTENT will also assume control of its own manufacturing

activities, including the testing procedures used during its manufacturing processes. XTENT?s

right to utilize Biolimus A9 and PLA biodegradable drug coating continues to remain limited to

products in XTENT?s previously defined field of use. Under the revised agreement, Biosensors

is no longer required to perform coating or testing services on XTENT?s stents nor to provide

other support services.

XTENT has also agreed to pay increased prices for the drug and polymer components and any

services performed by Biosensors. The exclusive rights for Biosensors to distribute XTENT?s

products in certain Pacific Rim countries that were included in the original agreement had

expired and are not included in the revised agreement. Biosensors remains obligated to

provide the information required by XTENT for regulatory approvals in the U.S., EU and Japan.

Under the original agreement, Biosensors had the right to terminate the agreement if XTENT

failed to obtain a CE Mark for its stent systems before May of 2008, subject to certain

conditions. Under the revised agreement, Biosensors has the right to terminate if XTENT has

not obtained CE Mark within one year following the later of (i) the signing of the revised

agreement; or (ii) the date the regulatory packages for the drug and polymer submitted by

Biosensors for XTENT are approved by European regulatory authorities, subject to certain

conditions.

The revised agreement states that in the event that XTENT undergoes a change of control, the

acquiring company must pay a fee to Biosensors if it wishes to utilize Biosensors? confidential

information.

Kaki Bukit. Its a large modern industrialcomplex with a lot of basement carpark. Go in straight you will see the reception. Left side are office rooms. Right side is the main conference room. Work as the "ah soh" cleaner better. Can go thru the waste paper basket or hear what the management is talking about with JNJ while pretending to pour tea for them. Ninja style.....
