Defensive stock of the year.. up 5c
Great result with double digit growth.. Although with the bad market sentiment, I think the counter can at least surge by 5-10%. If the market rebounce tomorrow, the upside will be more.
Good to vest.
singtel below $3 is always a good buy..
defensive counter... make $$ counter .. recession still people have to talk on phones, go on internet..
etc
Why Singtel and Starhub be the only companies responsible for this 'high price bidding'?? Singapore pools should be the one to help contribute as well. Betting has become part of football game and i dont see why SP is not asked to contribute to this whole damm thing!
If FIFA asking for sky high limits, then, very simple, Dont watch the football match, and , no ransom from FIFA anymore in years to come.......
FIFA better be prepared for the 'No-Show' if they continue to be 'greedy'.....

technical indicators for singtel are on an uptrend..vol past 2 days are healthy with up bar

singtel thought it was smart by tendering high for EPL; starhub thought it was smart and started tendering high for EPL the last round and refused to share - worse it made other sports fans subsidise for EPL by selling sports channel as package, MDA thought it was smart by letting singtel and starhub compete in tendering for EPL. All 3 are not so smart after all being suckered by EPL and now FIFA is holding Singapore fans to ransom. The ones who really lost big time are the Singapore consumers led by these 'smart' people.

we're still dependent on big bros..we're not self sufficient..
so if china burst, the magnitude of us dropping is much bigger..
Singtel management should be shot for putting the whole nation in tight spot by fluaching its wealth which can be used to help the poor. Why give charity to EPL and let FIFA holds the whole nation to ransom. A shame and lack of resposibility. The urge to win at all cost is affecting all of us, especially shareholders !!!!

2.97 to 3.04..up 7c.. cool!
risk aversion taking place..out from commodities,properties into defensive..
defensive stocks usually come out unscathed from the sea of red..
amazing singtel, the only component of STI that is up now ?
Why i choose singtel? Becos it is the biggest bully for bear bear..... hahaha!
