Question: U did mentioned that de management of BIG (or someone sitting in there) has a brillant way to boost the unvalued shares up to its marks. Has this been done?

Answer: Yes, its in the progress. There are 2 parts here in this method of bringing up BIG's valuation. But i feel BIG is being too greedy and doing trying to do Part 1 before doing Part 2. I feel they should go directly to Part 2 because i foresee Part 1 method has very little chance of success. Put it this way, "You may be clever but that doesn't mean others are stupid" and i feel BIG don't have enough good bargining power to close Part 1 successfully. Should just forget about Part 1 and go straight to Part 2. Part 2 itself is already very good move. However, if can close Part 1 first, then do Part 2, the effect will be double. If do Part 2 now, the opportunity to do Part 1 will be lost.

I think BIG can succeed in achieving half of the deal under Part 1. Part 2 is very simple to do. Achieving half of Part 1 deal and proceed to do Part 2 can bring up BIG's valuation by 70cts per share.

I also expect some Japanese news to come in soon.

The "mother of all announcements" now will be USA news. Once this deal is done, see this stock cross above the all time high of $1.50. If this deal is done, BIG will no longer be pre-earnings company. BIG will represent the new era of DES with solid exponential profit growth.

Give clue cannot give all in details mah........ There are shortists here also. They short and made the share price until this pitiful state. Even before CE this stock was trading above $1 from after IPO until before mid-2006. Too bad the impact not so huge as expected. 85cts to 95cts was the usual trading range before the sub-prime. This stock is currently still very undervalued. Verbal approval was given long ago and there was a CE meeting o 20/12/07 for several medical devices including Biomatrix. Also, Taxus Liberte just got their CE for diabetics a few days ago. I think both DESs had their CE panel on 20/12/07. Remember Taxus Liberte was the DES that Biomatrix beat last 2 months back? Restenosis rate of 0.7% VS 5.4%, thrombosis rate of 0% VS 4.4%. If they can give to BSX the CE, how can they don't give BIG? Cannot kelong until like that right?

Boston Scientific Stent Gets New EU Use

European Union Regulators Clear Boston Scientific's Taxus-Liberte Stent for Diabetics

NATICK, Mass. (AP) -- Boston Scientific Corp. said Friday its next-generation drug-coated stent received European Union approval for use in diabetics.

Company studies of more than 1,500 patients showed similar results for diabetic and non-diabetic patients implanted with its Taxus-Liberte stent. The tiny mesh-metal tubes are used to prop open arteries after they have been cleared of plaque. The drug coatings are designed to prevent scar tissue from growing over the stent, however recent studies have raised concerns they can actually lead to dangerous blood clots.

Boston Scientific is still awaiting approval for the Taxus-Liberte in the U.S., where a pending warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration has stalled approval of new devices from the company.

Competitor Medtronic is expected to gain FDA approval for its Endeavor drug-coated stent in the coming month, giving the company a jump-start in the U.S. market. Johnson & Johnson's Cypher and Boston Scientific's original Taxus stent are the only drug-coated stents currently available in the country.

Singapore Hot Stocks-Biosensors soars on EU approval

SINGAPORE, Dec 26 - Shares of Biosensors International Group rose as much as 18.6 percent to six-week high of S$0.86 with 15 million shares traded after the heart-stent maker said it expects to get European regulatory approval for its Biomatrix heart stents by late January.

"Should Biosensors receive the CE Mark by end-January...This should lift uncertainty for the group, as the lack of approval had affected prospects," said Citigroup analyst Jit Soon Lim.

Biosensors will begin marketing and selling the drug-eluting heart stents -- which have a biodegradable component -- once it obtains approval from medical authorities in Europe.

A drug-eluting stent is a tiny, expendable, mesh-like tube which acts as a scaffold inside a clogged or diseased coronary artery to keep it open, while delivering drugs to keep it from closing from scar tissue growth.

0639 GMT - Straits Times Index up 1.00 percent.

Congratulations to those buyers.

Possible.  I hear that one of their key man is ex-Banker.  Market is indeed getting impatient and I thought that price was hovering or struggling at $0.72 before the X'mas holidays.  In essence, if you look at their statement carefully, what is new?  I thought it is an exercise to prevent loss of confidence amongst some and a possible sell down.

With or without CE, J&J already offer BIG $2 takeover early this year. After CE approval, BIG can also licence their drug, biodegrable polymer. The potiential is huge.

from all the past event, it appears that BIG mgmt is a pretty conservative group. So, if they don't have any confident, they won't make any announcement at all. Now that they had committed a time frame, I'm pretty sure they had gotten verbal approval.

if the event turns otherwise, all investor will definitely lose confident in the BIG mgmt team.

Thanks.  Wonder if they are concern that market will sell down if no annoucement is made as expectations for a CE was December 20?  Managing market expectations to prevent a sell down?

i guess they just attempt to give a clearer date for us to look forward to.

Anyway, BIG seems to make announcement all at the not-so-good timing....the last one was when market was weak, so response was so so...now this one when market is quiet as most people are on holiday...so response is lukewarm only.....sigh...
