buy from seller and sell to buyer. some floating ones in fund house or trading house for you to borrow if you short it.
not perfect balance 1+1 = 2 hence the finance industry is very creative.
eg. money is debts and debts is again sell out as an equity.....
sorry i am not expert, still learning..... but i know this sound crazy..... but this is the trading world...... till someone slap us on the face, wake up !!!!!!

and remember u said the 1st 30mins don't do anything..then if heavily sell down, shouldn't i react and cut losses?

First 30mins don't do anything if you have not made an entry yet. But if you are already vested, then you should have a cut-loss price in mind already. Once you reach the cut-loss price in mind, just cut-loss. That is what I do. But long term investors wouldn't care, because they have holding power.

Even the bank analysts who write the analyst reports and give target prices of 2.38, 2.68 or 3.00 can be wrong. Unless you are a BB or a director in GentingSP, the rest of us are just trying to guess intelligently.

At 5.05pm, the matching was done at the 2.08 - 2.09 range not 2.07 - 2.08 range. So it is a sell down.
