Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite (SSEC) – Retesting the 3000 key resistance
More upside in the coming week: SSEC is likely to re-test the 3000 key support-turned-resistance level in the coming week after staging a strong rebound off its 8-month downtrend line.
Indicators show signs of a turnaround:With the RSI already showing oversold signals and the MACD showing a possible bottoming, the bearish momentum could be coming to an end soon.

Geared exposure to Midas
Macquarie is pleased to be the first to issue a call warrant which provides geared exposure to a new underlying, Midas Holdings.
Midas Holdings Limited designs, manufactures and installs polyethylene (PE) pipes as well as alloy extrusion products.
Midas posted 10.1% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth in 2Q09 net profit to S$9.4 million on the 14th August 09. Sales from the company’s core business, the Aluminium Alloy Division, grew by 17.9% YoY to S$36.0 million and contributed to about 95.4% of total revenue.
Outlook For Midas
Since June 2009, Midas has secured more than RMB1 billion worth of new contracts.
The company has stepped up its capacity expansion plans in view of the increased customers’ orders and potential market demand from the railway industry (SGX announcements).
Share price performance
Midas’ share price surged 3.0% day-on-day to close at $0.86, edging back closer to its 12 months high level of $0.88 achieved at the start of this month. Week on week, it rose 3.0% in line with a 2.6% increase in the STI.

did some TA analysis just now
Stochastic is turning up with blue line cutting the red (bullish)
MACD histogram turning green after a series of red (bullish)
CCI upward move to 0 showing oversold (bullish)
Looks like Midas is gettin back its form.. hope to see more upside tomorrow.. Cheers!

Take a look at SAR cup and handle, Midas chart (see below) also shows such formation, in the nascent stage
