Pension, buy-in price is never reflected in the price range of the particular trading day. I know it because it happen to me. By mistake, I sold more than what I have, but luckily the buy-in price was a lot lower then my selling price. So, still manage to make profit.

Pension,

Buy-ins are conducted at market price but with the 3-bid penalty imposed internally. That's why you won't see the $1.03 price at all.

Go ahead and try a naked short if you don't believe.

Suggest that those who are still unsure how forced buy-in works to consult their brokers Smiley.    Enough of free tutorial.

Anyway to be fair to TA.

Today volume is very high 1/2 a day areadi exceed yesterday volume. bound to have some BBs clear some of their holdings thus price will drop. but the key is how u wanna trade it?

there is no harm taking some profit at different stages just like what the BBs do.

This is my first time writing on this issue.   Unfortunately, what has been the best thread in terms of in-depth analysis and unselfish sharing of that analysis has been spoilt by person or persons hell bent on spewing rubbish and babbling away in gobbledegook.

If cashier tan can get such persons banned, well and good.  If not, may I suggest to all of you to simply ignore the inanity of such posts.  Everytime you respond or taunt that person or persons, you are only encouraging more of such drivel.

Lets revert to making this thread an informative one.

Peace.

Back to main stuff,

BIG has pick up momentum from yesterday and now is retracting from 1.02 high. still holding on to my remaining BIG shares and not selling till BIG tell me to sell. haha lucky never sell at 90.5c as "advised" by someone.

Based on 1hour chart, BIG may have temp peak and may consolidate. not need hurry to sell till it break the current short term trend support line ardound 95c for today. we try to squeeze this counter till the momentum run out of gas.

There was indeed a forced buy in of 50 lots at $1.03.  If in doubt, you may always check with yr brokers.  They have platform to access & confirm.  Forced buy-in was done by CDP on T + 4 when shortist didnt cover his/her position on the same day & is not using SBL (Share Borrowing/Lending) or CFD (Contract for Difference) to short the counter.  Forced buy-in by CDP is done at 11am & the price is 3 bids above the last transacted price, previous day closing or previous day high, depending which is higher.  As at 11am today, $1 was the high of the 3 options, thus the forced buy-in price became $1.03.  The commission to the broker is a handsome 0.75%.

Ok guys,

cool it ok? i also dunnoe what the hell this someone and his clone ID wanna achieve by opening so many threads name after his nick, and invading others threads to post advice that has accuracy of below 30% (only 1 out of 3 is correct, u can check yourself) from the way he post abt his purchase of stocks and holdings, he must be those rich but useless brat holding millions of paper lost. or he is just a liar.

anyway, after reading what some ppl post here, i would suggest we do a petition to the admin of this forum to ban his IP forever, WEI MING CHU HAI. (rid this pest totally for good), let him go to this CNA forum to join some other jokers of CNA forum.

The worst thing about "ELite" is that even a newbie knows better things and more than him, he better go hide in caves with his shame.

I think not much ppl will appreciate his "advices" in fact his go against his advices, u would have profitted! dun believe u can do a back testing.

Conclusion: Let write to the ADmin to ban his IP. than all his clone also can login liao. Agree?

Pension you obviously don't know anything. Buying-in is punishment by stock exchange and the shortist was punished at $1.03. The truth is OUT !!! I am new but even i know it. This is the naked short that the others are talking about. in other words T+3 days ago someone shorted without shares.
