even if it drops...will it drop below $3??
ask yourself whether this company worth investing? NO POINT rush to buy and store for dividend payment..
My view is after EX-date, it will drop but still maintain its worth value.
I have faith on this blue chip..sell at least $6(vested at $2.xx).....my view only!
After the ex date, then price going down more than the dividend? just like what it did to olam?
if that is the case, why people rush to buy just before EX-Date? Yes, they can get one time dividend payment. but the stock price dropped, so what people usually do? keep and wait the price went up again?

Singapore Property: Good results overshadowed by policy uncertainties
Summary: The 4Q09 results reporting season came to a close and majority of the property developers under our coverage reported earnings that exceeded our expectations. Despite the good results and strong property sales, share prices of property developers failed to outperform the market. This was attributable to the lingering uncertainties on government policies towards the property market in the region. We think that the market remains concerned on the impact of the property measures but this could change when developers continue to achieve strong take-up rates for their projects going forward. A pro-long extension of the low interest rate environment could also help to drive property sales. As such, we remain positive on the residential property segment and reiterate our BUY ratings on the following property developers: CapitaLand, Keppel Land, UOL Group and Soilbuild Group.
Our sector rating remains NEUTRAL due to our negative view on the office market. (Foo Sze Ming)
