what a kan chiong morning trading, esp this burger, making me sweat loh.

used 5 cts lower Q and ref yesterday closing price to collect further at 5.30(lost >10cts) and 5.25(18 cts lower as compared to yesterday closing price). No more collecting, its final answer on this burger.

BTW, another investment house stated in the press that STI now may try the bottom up line at 2680 and if that happened, it will rebound to 3160. Further confidently added that bottom line beyong of 2640 is not substantiated. Under what basis to say that ah.

What AK perceives that if the players would want to make use of such naration to press down STI, I think they got ALL means to do so. Ie, making of the above, the can accumulate cheap stuff till predicted bottom up and when it rebound all the way, they will unload liao.

ha ha, listen a bit fr Citi, AK unloaded half of my SIA holding, as it seems dropping of strength. needs to wait till next Mar for next round of Div loh. 

 

dropped fast will also rebound fast if there is a rebound. I can't take the heat, I came out liao, lost kopi$$ for the week...sigh! Luckily got kopi$$ from COSCO to offset this burger, really no luck today!

Personally I think Citi's analysis is one of the usually inaccurate. The more reliable, IMO, is from UOB Kayhian.

CO down n DJ rebounds, STI 2morrow will rebound as well.

ha ha, pse consult our Polar Bear, they hv ample good shorting counters ready for 2morrow, should DJ later chiong and recovering the lost grd on Mon.

The last hour buy up could be shorties covering...must see tomorrow's opening price since the CO has already dropped US$1.50 now. Yes, AK is smart, collecting slowly and not at one go in this kind of sentiment. I have yet take any position, probably tomorrow if it drops to 5.30 range, if that happens...Cheers!

Today's drop is due to a stronger dollar & drop in crude oil prices.

 

I think it's worth slowly collecting. It's in the oversold zone right now. But bear in bear oversold does not mean will rebound, it can stay oversold for a long time. AK, wanna take a bet @5.40+ for a rebound...hehehe!!!

Since CO was up by so much in the overnight trade, I think it's not wise and it's risky to short. However, the opening price will more or less factor in the CO jump. Risk taker can get in to short SPC if he is garang enuf! I have no guts lately...hehehe!!! May consider to SHORT China counters instead!

 

I just open my mail and notised that at noon yesterday, there was mail sent by one of the local broking house calling for SPC buy/long CFD. And SIA sell/short CFD???

Too late liao, I could hv dump my remaining SIA and don't short SPC in the moring.

Player may make use the CO price up to push SPC higher once market opens in am. Careful, if u want shorting. AK view only.

Debrief: Paid school fee for SPC, n keep SIA. Got fun, worth the effort to track both burgers whole day. Got time to watch Olympics games as well.

 

Actual fact is if CO price is up, the cost to refine will be higher as well. That will eat into its profit.

However, the market perceive otherwise. When CO price is up, the share price automatically will be higher, vice versa.

The main business, as mentioned by a forumer, is to refine CO then export to regional countries, like China, etc. Hopefully, we can see the export to China will rise after the Olympics Games. Exploration is a pinkie to its business.

Whatever it is, just go with the flow of the market.

 

Hmmm...hard to say. The uptrend today may already factor in the weak USD.
