Is Biosensors a good buy?

cashiertan.. u r rite.. my naughty finger had keyed de order tis morning... then went out.. received sms to indicated tat today i locked on 0.98 and 0.96.. came back office and release.. it hit 0.945.. but then.. i m fine wif that.. so far.. so good.. still believe in CE obtainable month end..

The T+4 and perhaps T+5 could really cos de share to fluctuate today.

Jan 10 close at 0.975 with volume of 40.399 million.  If we consider contra trade and on basis of T+4, today could be the settlement.  Hopefully, this is the current cause but seem well supported at 0.95 (at the moment).

 

support is at 95 , 89.5, 85, 80 

 

Huatah, suggest u better take control your trigger happy fingers, i saw ur entry this morning, hope that this counter will bounce or it may be quite ugly. it seem T+5 or later starting from 15 jan will be a better entry day.

Distribution increase with support at trend support of 95c which it bounced off just now. once close below it, may see it dip to 85c region. This is purely TA w/o taking into consideration abt the CE and news.

 

Thanks AK Francis.  I hope you mean the end of the current 'Lunar' New Year.  It will be interesting to see what happen if no announcement is made by end-January 2008.  I fear the worse as I feel the current price is holding only because of the impending announcement.  Unfortunately, we are in the midst of very negative market conditions in general.  Still I truly hope that we can have a early ang pow.  Cheers

Tends to agree with CW on BIG low price margin. Also hope the CE announcement comes early, before end of the yr. Cheers.

 

I think after CE announcement, BIG will make several announcements on distributorship agreements with various medical device companies/distributors. Such agreements normally includes a lump sum deposit, guarantee target sales volume each year for 208, 2009, 2010, etc. CE standards means can sell in over 50 countries (Europe and Asia).

 

My guess is hopefully the CE announcement could  be around early next week, or just before rate cut announcements.

I would however be watchful if the announcement comes out on this Fri. I'm still expecting some major move for STI.

Then again, Biosensors could still just perform like how it's been doing the past few days. Can totally forget abt buying below 97.5c.

de cheong will come.. once de HALT announced.. as for justified px.. IMO.. S$1.25 should b achieveable. Also.. it depends on wat part 2 consists of and when it announced too..

Good morning huatah.  Buy below $1. and I have done so.  My horoscope says that today is good day for making gains on investment.  Hoping......... I feel that Biosensor has become a 'situation' stock based on expectations that are well formulated and debated.  Dow is down but the support for Bio seem rather strong.  Many of us feel that CE is a timing formality - 11 more trading days to month end.  One question I am asking myself is - when CE is announced what would the price of Bio be at??  My personal thoughts is $1.20 to $1.30.  Hope we all get a early CNY angpow.  Cheers

DJ closed  -277.04. de opening might b slightly lower but if divergence doesn't occur, it will recover pretty fast.

By right, based on my TA, the ideal price to enter is around 97.5c region and tomolo BIG should be having a breakout. however by left u see DOW's performance tonite, surely will affect the market tomolo. sell if it cant break the recent high as i spotted divergences in the TA of BIG chart. however this divergence can be broken if BIG do well tomolo.

Lets get rid the demon of P and make BIG go to new high. Thou i did not enter BIG currently due to i miss my ideal price, i will still support you guys at the side and wait for good time to enter again.

Earlier, someone mention about double top formation which i personally think that chances of happening is very slim unless CE is not here ( touchwood ).

By the way, if you look at the chart from a wider angle, it look like a double bottom reversal pattern ( from mid June till now ). Hopefully so. Then BIG is going to cheong real "BIG" time very soon. This is what i think will happen as all the current developement is very encouraging and with CE coming along(if) then it will be invincible. And if that happen, the TA price objective will be at around $1.30 (coincidentally it matches some analysts T.P.) Anyway, this stock is very voilatile to do TA .... ha ha ha

looking at how BIG move today..with such STI background, CTO selling did not have major impact, good new by end of the month and few large transcation done at a $0.99 to $1...

No chance to log on the stock mkt movement today.Suprise to see the bio hold on so well compare to the whole mkt sentiment. The days of roller coaster are over. BIO cheong!

 

From what i know..... don't have such patent. There are 2 schools of fully biodegredable stent in this industry now. One is using magnesium, the other using 100% biodegredable polymer without any metal strut. BIG's patent covers the second school using biodegredable polymer.

 

Is there any med company holding the patent for the "any limus on fully biodegradable stent".
