NOL?
those of all who are counting down to short gsp.. becareful.. if the gap down is too huge, might wanna consider to hold back fire..
found this video in the forum about the US's market..
hopefully it's helpful to most of uhttp://www.hotstockmarket.com/forum/thread/43337/stock-market-today-equities-futures-forex-options-intraday-discussion/108820#post_2764110
I knew it's going to be nasty... just kidding... lol...
Selling into juicy rallies is right on...
Sometimes juicy rallies are not 'fully ripe' yet,
so it is entirely possible to have entered prematurely...
Many have vast experience of whipsaws...
And whipsaws have whacked untold number of people.
But in the end it boils down to a question of betting styles.
One betting style cannot at the same time
                                                          suit a lot of others...

To try sighting and shorting into a juicy rally on a good day, is that wrong? Or wait till the market  starts sliding again  will be better? You tell me.

master gaecia, we all know tat sometimes BB will just purposely reach or break the resistance.. to lure ppl to buy in for breakout or trigger cut loss..
i was lucky to be here when this 'fake breakout' occured (i hope 5.28-5.3+ is still the resistance now)..
anyway, GSP gave a very disappointing results..
NOL reported losses..

well.. it was supposed to trigger my stop loss when it opened at 5.3+
initially i set at 5.28..
but i removed the stop loss (i am betting to see whether it can sustain at 5.3 or not, it dropped back to 5.25 after 30 mins.. so i set back the stop loss)..
so far.. it's still safe

I have this nasty feeling you are too gian-gian* to enter into trades.
The secret to good trading is not to trade frequently.
Of course, if you like the thrill of trading frequently,
you will see trading opportunities 'all over the place'...

(*Behind the urge to enter into a trade is  the urge to make money)

Master roti, i just got back in late aftern lest i enter trades  impulsively. You never read me properly lah,  earlier in the day i'd posted  on losing  1 bid (got stopped out, entry 2.57) from shorting crapland this morning. About 4.50pm i was eyeing another property counter but alas..chickened out. *haha*  Hey your Wilmar didn't get stopped out this morning opening? That means either you didn't place stops or your stop is placed wide apart abv 5.35? i'm still learning how to place the right  stop orders so would you share your knowledge pls?

Gaecia, I am in the same position as you. Best advise is dun wait to be taught, take the initiative to learn how to spot those insider trading. Reading & observing the market once a while will let you get a clearer picture and increase probability of winning. Cheers!
Even the best remisier/broker who is excellent  in TA will not tell you their secrets to success!
