I thought this stock will not come down to this extend...... It came down to fill the gap that was created after christmas day.

Eyes pop out ! Jaw dropped  Hands trembling ! Legs shivering ! Nose bleeding ! Hairs falling off ! Thanks God the heart is still pumping with conviction. Have faith in our judgement everything should be fine in the end. 3 months, 6 months or 1 year I will wait. Meanwhile I am also picking this stock real cheap. Hopefully  when the next trading halt take place I can retire for good albeit being bald. But who's care if every hair that fell  equals to putting a dollar in my pockets ! Let's hope everyone and everthing is fine in end !

<  see that a lot of people are blaming BIG's big drop today on the the company not resuming trade on friday, on the company's supposedly conservative estimates, etc, etc.
Lets be fair here.
I did not detect any such comments or wishes on friday.>

Most of them were making pledges to donate their profits to charitable organizations. Pls make good on them. The stock px was generally fueled by alot of speculation and hype that investors failed to see the potential pitfalls and obstacles despite CE approval. They completely ignored earnings which Mr. Pension highlighted.

The px movement downwards was expected as the smart ones lock in their profits early as evident by some of the postings in this forum. Enuff said, lets see where it goes from here.

Let's not blame the stock, directors of BIG etc. They might be able to manage BIG's future prospects, but seriously take a look at all the stock exchanges. I'd be hard pressed to find one that fails to drop more than 1% today (save for the DJIA on holiday....). The fact is, Biosensors DID RALLY to 1.10 before the market plunged.

Historically how many times do we see STI plunge >6% in a day (I can only recall the 6.15% plunge back in Aug 07)? It's the perfect storm. Practically no stock was spared. I don't think a lot of people expected such a big drop today. Same goes for the big fund houses.

As with any stock it's always buyer beware. I believed in the prospects myself, and I myself also kena some losses on Biosensors despite CE approval. If not for stoploss, it would be worse!

I think it's a sobering situation most of us are in now. If you believe in Biosensors and can afford to hold, by all means go ahead and hold or even buy. If you need to address cashflow issues, go ahead. It's a personal decision and responsibility.

I did not detect any such comments or wishes on friday.  In fact, most were glad that it had halted the whole day.

As they say, hindsight is perfect sight.

Yes although todays drop cannot be avoided, but had the moronic BIG CEO removed the halt on Friday, it could have ride up VERY HIGH on the initial excitement. So that today when the gains are wiped out, it would not be so siong on the faithfull BIG shareholders. It could have some chance to maintain $1.00 level. Anyway Bush is to be blamed also.

With regards to lifting of trading halt, it is very important to time it right. How many Mondays had passed with sea of reds esp when DJ close -ve on Friday? No matter what news are announced on Monday, the chances of it lifting up the share prices are slim. Look at E3 Holding and Jaded - they had an experience guy establishing wonderful investment opportunities, announce the good news on weekend and starts trading today after trade suspension. What happen? The share prices tumble too..........

It's really unfortunate what had happened today. BIG need to do damage control otherwise tomorrow will see the worse as the worst of the market is yet to come ....

True think they must have thought their analyst briefing went well. I am sure management didnt expect this reaction. You guys are right. They should have lifted on Friday. didnt understand why some of you were agitated that they didnt. Guess you are experienced and anticipated this?

BIOSENSORS, db maintain BUY with target price $1.40 -Biosensors announced that the Company has received ?CE? Mark approval for its flagship BioMatrix drug-eluting stent system. This approval allows Biosesnors to sell the BioMatrix in the European Union and the countries in Asia and Latin America that recognize the CE Mark. -The BioMatrix is a next generation drug eluting stent and is the only one that will now be available in the market which has a biodegradeable polymer along with a limus family of drug used to prevent restenosis. Trial results and follow up data of the stent have been very good which would suggest that the stent should be well received in the market. -Terumo Corporation one of the licensees of Biosensors? BioMatrix technology, also announced CE Mark approval for its NOBORI drug-eluting stent system (it is essentially the BioMatrix stent). BioMatrix has a revenue sharing agreement with Terumo. While the company has not disclosed the extent of the revenue share we believe that it is in the order of 30-40%. -Biosensors has indicated in the past that it has already identified distributors in Europe, Latin America and Asia in anticipation of the CE mark. Hence we believe monetization should start in a few months. With the acquisition of -JW Medicals and now the receipt of CE mark Biosensors is finally in a position to report recurring sales and profits. -However in our view larger companies like Johnson and Johnson, Boston Scientific, and Medtronics which already have stents and channels to distribute other products might be better positioned to unlock the best value of this next generation stent. (Please see our initiation piece BioMatrix is at the heart of the matter; dated 19, Seoptember 2005). From that perspective we still view Biosensors as an acquisition target.

I made 9k in the morning, and ended up lost 5k by 5pm. I consider that i lost 14k in one day.
This is the worst loss i ever made in a single day. I was depending on BIG to get back on my feet. As i said nobody to be blamed except myself for being so stupid, so indisciplined, so naive. I never learn my lesson. Never fall in love with any Stock.

dear all.. like all of u.. pretty disappointed with today's performance. However, if u didn't buy with regards to "contra" within days, I would say this is still ok. Majority of the investors had pull out their fund and not interested in any fund till USA had a clearer pictures. And with lots of them expected USA to release more and more bad news, none of the shares are spared, including BIG.

Hang on there my friends.......

Yup. Superbad2 . U are correct which means 5 complete trades with buy and sell. Otherwise u can just send a cheque of 80 bucks and get three months of poems Pro Trader with no string attched of how many trades u need. Ten trades in a good month is achievabble but for now... i think it's better for us to be sidelines.... or try to short all counters. if u did it today.. u will be laughing all the way to the bank : )

Had this stock last thursday and i was very happy when it halt after closing and hoping for a soar in price with all good news and prospect but till this morning i had to bear with a loss which is still bearable but pain.

Think have to wait till next rally and i will be in action...

Do trade carefully and have good luck ok with entry price. cheers

ooh.... u have to get a POEMS PRO TRADER acct with them and with it, u can buy/sell at pre determined price u had decided and make a buy limit / stop loss limit input, which is it will triggered if the price of the stock went over / below the range u set. It's only good for a day. u have to set it the next trading day if not executed.

Look into their website about that.. any Qs can Msg me ok? cheers ... Rule 1 of trading ( At least for me ).. Must know how to accept small losses and win Big.
