CIMB Research has started coverage of Global Logistic Properties, which owns warehouses in Japan and China, with an outperform rating and a target price of $2.24.
GLP has the size and network in logistics to multiply its tenant base, given its ability to lease space to multinational corporations in important cities under the same landlord, said CIMB in a research report.

GLP: Reportedly planning to issue $300m-$500m worth of perpetual bonds at approx 5% with a step-up in Apr 2022. Co intends to raise funds for acquisition opportunities in this depressed economic environment. GLP has approx $1.7b in cash currently with net debt to gross asset ratio of around 23%. Fitch has assigned a BBB- rating to the perpetual notes, viewed as a hybrid, 2 notches below GLP’s BBB+ rating.
GLP: Announced that it has appointed banks to advice on its proposed issuance of SGD denominated perpetual capital securities. Grp has mandated JP Morgan as global coordinator for the offering, while Citi, Goldman Sachs, and DBS have been appointed joint bookrunners and joint lead managers.
Co. didn't state the size of the proposed offering, but said proceeds will be used to fund general corporate purposes. On top of that, Co, is scheduled to take part in UBS Global Property Investor’s Conference this wk to discuss Co’s outlook and strategy.
GLP highlights its strategies going forward and for China, grp aims to enter new submarkets with > 75% lease ratio and targets organic growth of 1.66sqm of development starts for FY12. In Jap, grp will continue to partner with CPPIB to build modern logistics properties in Jap, while monetization of its Jap assets are still on the cards.
Majority of street remains positive on grp with 8 Buy calls and 1 Sell call, with a mean TP of $2.26.

Remember to set a stop to protect your profit, just in case it swing up.....
I think is better not to Short in this choppy mkt    . Is better to avoid. If not u will be the first to get shorted...Current mkt is more for whole day trader... If you are working is better stay away...

yeah i know now. i never did short because i have not master long so now i need to raise funds cause my ah lau refused to fund me hahaha. but im using this time to practice.  without cfd utterly cannot play. unlike last time still got 11/2 hour break now all day trading how to play...

If you want to trade, you should have at least have a  CFD account to allow you to trade both direction....
if only i have cfd account..i dun so cant partake...sob.

There maybe a gap down tmr.....
I will go with you on shorting GLP, nice little topping tail put in today.
The 200DMA looks to be a strong resistance point at the moment.

GLP in mid term will be lower than 1.495.... nothing change....hmmm...
Let see how my shorts in GLP can give me a fruity profit....1.845... hmm.....

Yap and I think it can still goes higher.
Buy GLP tomorrow, if market permits.
Entry: $1.88
Stop-Loss: $1.78
Target: $2.05
