After the surging to fill a gap at 29 cents , UniEnvtech came down again , there is no support at 27 cents . If  it  falls  further  down , it could only stop at  25 cents , but it could go further down to fill a gap at  22 cents still remains unknown .

UniEnvtech makes a rebounce today in order to fill a gap at 29 cents , but the surging is stopped by the 10MA at 29.5 cents . The downtrend has not changed yet because the momemtum is not strong enough to reverse the trend

Good vision! I should say this is one of the good BOT counter to vest in other than the BB Hyflux....

We should also consider that UtdEnv is also one of the leading membrane based water and wastewater treatment solutions providers. They have also secured EPC contract earlier to build one of China's largest MBR (Municipal Membrane Bioractor) plants in GuangZhou City. The contract worth $54million which expect to complete by Jun 2010.

Other project secured by UtdEnv includes BOT project worth RMB245 million in LiaoYang City and RMB145 million in HeGang City. These projects will also apply MBR technology.

More such project will start to roll in once they complete their first BOT project and handover with compliance.....oh..ohhh and of course the needs and market climate must be right as well. Then they must start to plan for more money to invest into such project be it from investor or bank loan liao....All the best to those who vest in this counter (including myself)

Beijing to hike water price to fight shortage: report

Authorities in China's capital plan to raise water prices by just under a quarter in a bid to discourage residents from wasting the resource and to ease severe shortages, state media said Wednesday. For years northern China has been battling a water shortage that experts say is caused by global warming, drought and rising demand from 96 million people who live in booming areas in and around Beijing. The price of water for residential use will rise from 3.7 yuan (54 cents) to 4.6 yuan a cubic metre, according to a plan by the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, cited by the official Xinhua news agency. Under the proposal, the government will offer subsidies to low-income families who would not be able to afford the hike, and a public hearing will be held this month to solicit residents' opinions, the report said. Beijing's total water consumption in 2008 was 3.5 billion cubic metres, according to government figures. Environmental groups have long warned the city's water situation is critical. Probe International, a leading development policy group, said in June last year that China's capital could run out of water in five to 10 years, a situation that could lead to economic collapse. Official data shows that the available water supply in Beijing amounts to just 300 cubic metres (10,500 cubic feet) per person a year, according to Xinhua, well below common international standards. As a result, China is building the hugely ambitious South-North Water Diversion Project, the central canal of which will stretch 1,300 kilometres (800 miles) from a tributary of the Yangtze river to Beijing

Short term it may have to do some rebounce to correct its over-bought position , but do not hope for more surging ahead . It may form the base at this level n move sideway before there is another uptrend which would  be in the far future .

Although TA doesn't look so good at the moment, it is trending downward. However, what do you guys think in term of its FA?

I thought the news below is quite encouraging (an extract from "The Edge Singapore")

Mainboard-listed United Envirotech, the membrane-based water and wastewater treatment solutions provider, says in net profit for the three months ended 30 September 2009 (2QFY2010) rose 182.4% year-on-year to $3.1 million.

The group also recorded a 25.2% y-o-y increase in revenue amounting $11.3 million. The improved set of results in 2QFY2010 was mainly due to higher engineering and recurring income for the period.

In line with a higher proportion of revenue recognised from the design stage of the newly secured contracts as compared to a higher proportion of revenue recognised from the construction and installation of the projects during the previous period, the group recorded a 16.2% y-o-y decrease in materials purchased, consumables used, and subcontractor fees to $4.3 million in 2QFY2010 from $5.1 million in 2QFY2009.

Due to new contracts secured during the period, United Envirotech says the group incurred higher costs associated with design fees and pilot testing. As such, other operating expenses saw a 58.6% y-o-y increase to $1.9 million from $1.2 million in 2QFY2009.

The group turned in a net profit for the period of $3.1 million in 2QFY2010, representing a 182.4% y-o-y increase. Earnings per share correspondingly increased y-o-y by 178.6% to 0.78 cents, as compared to 0.28 cents in 2QFY2009.

UniEnvtech has  fallen from  the high at 44 cents on 20/10/09 to the low at 30 cents on 05/11/09 without any rebounce , after then it went into sideway movement for two weeks . It formed a small box formation at this period fluctuating from 30 cents to 33.5 cents   , and unfortunately it broke this formation two days ago on 24/11/09 n closed at its lowest price at 29 cents .This is to confirm the valid break-down n with a measurement from the box formation , a target of 26.5 cents is in sight .
