Agreed.Buying is relentless.A lot of  big volume buy up and " other trades" done.Trend  turning up  and I think Monday will be another positive  day.

Unloved and under-owned, CIMB  think this sector is worth a re-look now that global economies are recovering.” Wilmar, meanwhile, saw losses at its Chinese oilseeds and grains business in the first part of the year, largely due to overcapacity, causing earnings to decline significantly for the first two quarters of the year. However, business had started to pick up in 3Q12 ended September, with the company reporting a growth in earnings. And now some analysts are expecting another quarter-on-quarter rise in earnings, as margins in the oilseed crushing, as well as at its palm oil business, are seen to be stabilising.
For Wilmar, which is expected to report on Feb 19, JP Morgan has raised its earnings forecast for the company by 26%, 20% and 20% for FY12, FY13 and FY14 respectively, based on improved margins across its palm and laurics, oilseeds and grains, and consumer products business segments. JP Morgan has upgrading is call on the stock to ‘overweight’ from a previous ‘neutral’, and its target price to $4.20, from $3.30 previously.

TP 4.65  ???? Look like Down trend unless wilmar recd the new chinese phone call ???
Maybank Kim Eng upgraded palm oil company Wilmar International Ltd to 'buy' from 'sell' and raised its target price to S$4.65 from S$2.75, on expectations its earnings will improve along with a recovery in its biggest market China.
By 0230 GMT, Wilmar shares were flat at S$3.64, having risen nearly 9 per cent since the start of the year, compared with the Straits Times Index's 1.2 per cent gains.
Expectations of low crude palm oil (CPO) prices in 2013 will benefit Wilmar, as it is a net buyer of CPO, although it owns some plantations, Maybank said, adding that lower feedstock cost will likely improve margins of its refining, trading and consumer divisions.
An improvement in China, which accounts for almost 50 per cent of Wilmar's revenue, will boost the palm oil company and its plans to cut back capital expenditure will strengthen its balance sheet.
" With China's soybean imports hitting a surprising high towards the end of 2012, we believe earnings surprises lie ahead," said Maybank in a report.
Wilmar International Limited will be announcing its financial results for the full year ended 31 December 2012 on or about 22 February 2013(Tues) during non-trading hours on the Singapore Exchange.
Is today pre-market gap up at $3.72 real? Hope this is a real breakout but not price manipulation.
At the moment, Wilmar is trading with a bearish candle and no follow through on the breakout to the upside.
