Today suppose is a downward trend, " push and push" , then " tong" until " face green green" . Well done to keep this counter above sea level.
Why still bothered whether its 800% or 8% jump in thailand? The natural rubber prices jumped 600% from in 4 yrs and nobody mentioned about that? So rubber prices jump and the output product and share price of company dont need to jump??? Coffee in singapore jumped 5% 2009 2010 and naturally kopitiam makes 2 to 3% more right?
But im happy huat ah prices pls go up!
Happy new year everyone.
Sri Trang’s Singapore offer price was equivalent to about 29 baht, a
sizable discount to its Friday closing price of 35 baht at Friday’s
close.
“We expect the volume to be active as Sri Trang is one of the largest processors of natural rubber, which may attract the interest of some global funds and investors,” said Ng Kian Teck, an investment analyst at SIAS Research.
Ng said last week, before the crisis worsened in Egypt, that he expected Sri Trang’s shares to rise on their Singapore debut given the discount to Thailand and the undemanding price-earnings ratio of less than nine times forecast earnings.
JPMorgan was the sole global coordinator of the share offering, as well as the joint issue manager, bookrunner and underwriter together with CIMB and Standard Chartered.

Don make sense holding it over short term, long term it can make abit of kopi money after it run by 800% for this ipo here, init offer is say to set at $1.60. Final offer $1.20c, U think -- it make sense or not ??.

obviously u had never observed past ipos under similar conditions for the past   6 years.
From past examples whenever any ipo have this 3 negative things happening together( 1. NO balloting required, everyone gets, 2. Many applicants got FULL ALLOTMENT for the lots they apply for. 3. DOW drop big the night before), no matter how strong the underwriter is or even how many strong underwriters the ipo has,  they ALWAYS open below water......Many past such examples, such as Amtek, China Hu Ann, even tiong seng(very strong underwriter plus balloting quite difficult to get too) and many other examples. In fact, many pple oredi felt in comparison, Amtek's underwriters seem stronger than Sri's but Amtek 1st day also opened deeply underwater.
My view is without doubt Sri will open BELOW water, the only debatable part is open how many cents below water. Of course some times KELONG/or miracle may happen once in many years in stock market, That's why some forumners posted in CNA forum that if Sri can open above water despite it having these 3 above negative factors happening together, then it will be the biggest kelong in spore's ipo history.
Just sharing my realistic honest view that from past examples of ipos having such similar conditions from their balloting results.

Do you think this stock is worth holding if underwater?
