hold on tight this is a big storm. but i have faith in venture, vested 5 lots in at 8.93 last week will just keep holding
ouch, price has now fallen more than a dollar after XD of $0.55 per share
Pls be careful. Venture is going down on a STI up day.
For short term, I personally believe it will be still a downtrend.
Venture will has a hard time growing its customer base this year   in order to increase revenue.
Stay cautious.
Q1 results were pretty okey.   Sales were down 8% but only because they were exiting low margin business.   Profits were up 4%.   Net cash rose.   Statement cautiously positive.   Should mean dividend will be held, and at 6.6% yield, that's pretty tastey.   Look what Standard Chartered or DBS will give you on a fixed deposit.   This stock has weathered many storms before, and always come out stronger.   The current stock weakness ought to be a buying opportunity.
Dont worry should pose for a rebounce today or tomorrow.
if drop further my friends will buy up this baby.
Btw, here are the latest research houses rating:
Fair Value Rating Date
CIMB: $12.00 Out-Performed 03/05/2011
DBS Vickers: $11.00 Buy 13/05/2011
Kim Eng: $11.60 Buy 06/05/2011
I dun no why it's dropping everyday, all because of earning report and forecast?
am thinking too... it has been a very bad week for this counter

more lau sai days to come.
today, this counter lau sai more than the 55 cents dividends per share
cannot reach $10 anymore...
coz tomorrow comes ex-div
got to wait for the end of year rally ....
Hit $10 at least by month end.
Venture will reach S$10 soon, peaking near ex dividend date.
Most importantly, I'm vested. Hehe
