MACD daily cuts thru. signal line strongly.
All indicators pointing UP. My short-term technical objective 1.21 for next few days.
Today's close is a long white candle with high volume relative to normal trading days.
As volume starts to build up, prices should be able to rally further.
Today splash of high volume should mark the beginning of a new trend (...)
(assuming nothing big happens).
Personal opinion. Not an inducement for any trade decisions. [vested]

Another piece of GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!! from UOBKayhian!!!!
Singapore Market News (Thurs June 28 2007)
Stock Watch ..... Advance SCT : Positive spillover from M&A activities
source : UOBKH Research
M&A activities in Europe. Norddeutsche Affinerie (NA) and Cumerio announced plan to combine their business activities to create a pan-Europe integrated copper production and processing group. NA will offer ?30 in cash for each Cumerio share, representing a 28.5% premium to the closing share price on 21 Jun 07. The offer is conditional upon NA obtaining at least 80% of Cumerio shares and clearance by merger control authorities. Share price of NA and Cumerio gained 44.9% and 64.6% respectively YTD.
The merger between NA and Cumerio will have a positive impact on share price for Advance SCT as there are lots of similarities in business model:
- Unique integrated business model
Advance SCT's business model is similar to Germany-based NA (mkt cap: ?1155.5m, FY07 PE: 14.1x) and Belgium-based Cumerio (mkt cap: ?763.4m, FY07 PE: 16.1x). Both NA and Cumerio sources copper from concentrates and scraps and produces copper coil used in the manufacturing of power cables and wiring used in electrical applications. NA is the largest copper refiner while Cumerio is the largest copper smelter in Europe. Advance SCT captures the full copper value chain from recycling, smelting, refining to production of copper-based products. It is unique in having a network of scrap collection centres in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and uses scrap as feedstock for in-house smelting operations.
- Copper smelter up and running
80%-owned subsidiary TTM Industries' first furnace commenced production of 3mm and 8mm copper coil in Mar 07 and capacity utilisation hit 80% in Jun 07. The second furnace will ramp up production in Aug 07. TTM Industries supplies copper coils to large customers such as Mitsui, Nanya and Chang Chun, major suppliers for copper foil used by the PCB industry. It also secured Tai Sin Electric Cables as a new customer. Management is confident TTM Industries will achieve guaranteed net profit of S$8m for 12-month period ending Mar 08.
- Copper refinery operational by 1Q08
Construction for the integrated copper refining and manufacturing facility at Tuas, Singapore is on schedule. The facility refines copper to purity of 99.9% using pyro metallurgy techniques and manufactures phosphorous copper anode balls, raw materials used during the plating process for production of PCBs. Phase 1 of the expansion
will be operational by 1Q08. The facility will have total production capacity of 36,000MT p.a. when fully completed.
Reiterate BUY with target price at S$1.50 based on FY08 PE of 12.5x.

Business prospects
In addition, four of Singapore's highly successful entrepreneurs - Andy Lim of the Moneyworld Group of Companies, Raffles Education's Chew Hua Seng, Labroy Marine's Tan Boy Tee and KS Energy's founder Tan Kim Seng, through Tembusu Growth Fund - own the remaining 20 per cent of the group's Malaysian smelter.
All seem to believe in the prospects of the business. And undoubtedly, the successful start of operation of the second furnace and the Singapore refinery in the coming months will win it even more converts

tomorrow might be a good day for short term contra if it is steady at 80 cents.
good luck
- just for reference
i think for small invester like us should not pick up the warrant ...8cts...let those major holder hve it..they no way out..oonly way is push up the share price...we made 30 percent and say bye!
how?????can work??? he!HE!
they need to push tis counter a bit higher otherwise the warrant look expensive to me.
share price now 72.5cts
exercise warrant 95cts
95cts-72.5cts=22.5cts divide 72.5=31percents
why pick up the warrants???
unless you think tis share can reach $1.20 ?????
more volatility in this stock currently will only mean higher price.
it has stayed stable for so long in 72 to 78 cents range.
also since exercise price is 87 cents obvious that is a target to reach. how long only the BB who
is manipulating this counter can decide.
Hi dawnsj,
Thank you for your reply !
I did read the report. It shares the same analysis I have done. Basically, the price has broken the support of .73, it has become bearish. I am hopeful someone else may have a different view, TA or FA, to provide a different perspective....
Thanks again, dawnsj !
3warrants for every 10shares n pay 8cts per warrants,exercise price 87cts.
wat is tis?87 add 8 is 95cts per conversion..
Hi, 56mimosa
CIMB-GK Daybreak dated 30 May has written something on AdvSCT under their "trading idea". You may wish to have a look at it. (Sorry, I don't know how to copy and paste the write up for your ref.)
