it is an s-chip that pays hefty dividens so i think i will go for this...
not all s-chips are bad... see china minzhong , cosco , yangzi ...all schips ...still steady ni i see....

I think Qingmei is good stock, only because of recent S-chip saga. Good to buy and keep for long.
Remember , invester have short memory.
But current mkt condition , will we see new low??

i bot at 21. buy again at 18.
prospectus say 30% payout last yr and this yr. Full yr profits assume ~280 m RMB. For 640 m shares, that would be ~2.5 cents a share.
Some (i) S-chips not safe or (ii) they might not keep to their promises (iii) greece debt (iv) US debt ceiling etc...
These are valid concerns...we must take calculated risks...no free lunches...right :)

why did it fall so drastically from the highs of 40s to where it is now? can anyone explain and is it a good stock to invest in for the dividends at least?
