Another question, how does one determine the entry price level when the price is falling ? And shouldn't one buy when price is rising to ride the wave?  Thanks.

Yes and one more point - the stock should ideally be oversold but with Williams%R uptrending also.

That's a perfect buy signal.

So wat u r saying is that the perfect time to buy is when indicators are uptrending and share price is dropping and the counter is oversold ?

Hi waterfalls,

Divergence means that the indicators are uptrending while the stock price is either stagnant or downtrending.

In most instances, both indicators and stock price will usually move in tandem. That's pretty normal. If the indicators are uptrending but the stock is not yet overbought, I would still consider it a buy signal though not a perfect one.

Dear Master sporeregal,

Your TA article says to buy when Acc/ Dist and Chaikin show divergence with stock price. Does it mean when share price goes up but the 2 indicators go down ? Or the reverse ? What if both are going up in tandem with each other ?

You're welcome.

No big deal lah.... I just read 3-4 charts and come to a conclusion. I use the same rules over and over again. Not much skill involved.

elizlow,

If you haven't already sold, you should be well into the black now.

Good Xmas present eh?

Let me review the FA.....to see if there is more upside.

elizlow,

Hope you exercised your option at the beginning of this year for a 5:1 Ascott Reit @ 0.68cts. You should be sitting on a pretty profit with this Reit......60cts per reit.....=> 12cts per mother share. So, you are about 10cts underwater at this point in time..........getting there...hold on tight.
