good service not really too important for budget air as long is that " bad service" . The cost and pricing is more important.
I read about passengers taking Tiger Australia in Australia. They said the service is no good even the price is low.
Does that response affect Tiger Airways? Can Tiger Airways made profit for 2013?

Australia's regulators have given Tiger the green light on its proposed 60% stake sale of Tiger Airways Australia to Virgin Australia. An approval of the sale of Tiger Australia may be a positive as the Company has been undergoing yield deterioration from the intense competition within the Australia domestic market, putting a drag on the Group’s earnings. Tiger Airways will get S$120m one-time gain on disposal of Tiger Australia. Both Tiger Airways and Virgin Australia have committed to invest a further A$62.5m to fund growth in Tiger Australia. Tiger Australia will pay Tiger Airways an annual licence fee based on % of revenue for 20 years. However, the future strategy for SIA is questionable, as Tiger’s unique advantage was within its Australia domestic operations. A quick check aross Tiger, Silkair and Scoot websites shows that Tiger has only 5 unique destinations it flies to (ex-Australia domestic flights), out of its 38 destinations. Including Tiger Australia, Tiger has 14 unique destinations. The 5 remaining unique destinations after Tiger Airways sells a 60% stake in its Australian operations will be mainly in Philippines- Bacolod, Boracay, Puerto Princesa, Iloilo, Tacloban OCBC has a SELL rating, with TP of $0.63.

Tiger-Virgin jv gets nod, Tiger to record S$120m one-off gain from sale
By
Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd on Tuesday said it has received the go-ahead from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) to sell a 60 per cent stake in Tiger Australia to Virgin Australia.
Tiger expects the transaction to be completed in the second half of 2013, upon fulfilment of the conditions in Tiger and Virgin's share purchase agreement.
Thereafter, Tiger's Australia unit will be managed as a standalone entity, with a separate board and management team, it said.
Tiger Australia will also pay an annual license fee to Tiger Airways for the use of the Tiger brand for 20 years based on a fixed percentage of Tiger Australia's total gross revenue, with options to renew for another two periods of five years each.

Anyone got apply for Tiger Airline rights? If key in wrong can resubmit?
I key in entitlement : 2
Not sure the entitlement is : lots or shares??
Can anyone please advise? If key wrong what should i do?

Does anyone know the reason why TA is selling the tickets at a low price which can translate to low profit margin and no dividend to shareholders? LCC airlines are facing stiff competition, what is your view can TA able to survive through this tough times ahead?
Physically do not have to pay the amount of rights allocated.
Can just sell at the open market and get around $170 per lot.

do we physically have to pay the amount of the rights alloted first before selling at the open mkt now? or we can jz sell whatever rights shares given to us at open mkt now?
You may either use it to convert into shares at a lower price or sell the rights in the open market. Just look at Tiger Air R or Tiger Air R200. Now is selling around $0.17. Don't let it expire.
Good Luck.

PCCS==Preferential Convertible Capital Securities.
This is a new term coined to milk the market of funds.   Hahaha.
Many fund-taking instruments come with odd names, but they all boil down to the same thing, give me some money please. Hahaha...

May I know what is PCCS?

(nil-paid rights) - We can sell the rights we don't want? How do we confirm our rights entitlement? Will CDP informed us?
Normally is it the market rate? of around 0.68 or lower 0.47 ?
Can we then buy if someone want to sell it at 0.47?
Thank you.

Watch out for important dates when the payments should be made. Yes ATM can do, only the approved ones normally DBS/POSB, Ocbc and UOB.
The rights entitlement   (nil-paid rights) will be traded for few days for those who want to sell off their entitlements. The PCCS entitlement will not be traded so you cannot sell off your entitlement, but you don't need to apply   if you are not interested.

Can you please advise on when can we apply for rights issue?
Is it apply through ATM?
And what do you mean by applying for excess rights? If we have 10 lots can we apply for excess rights? how many access rights can we apply?

Thank you.
