wah, seems like all counters reaching the 5 yr's low today.
with that pace go, 7 yr's or 911's low seem not far stretch liao.
monk bless.
around 21 Apr 2003, its price was $8.80
At one stage, S'pore mentioned oni needed two big local bank. one is DBS, the other can be UOB or OCBC.
At $11.50, DBS is at 5 yrs 4 mths low.
Anybody even bothers about market capitalization. Pacific Century (mother of HongKong Telecom) can even halt trading for a week without any announcements.
I think goondoo might not have noticed, the Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao do not report stock prices anymore.
Maybe DBS is now small enough (or if it continue to free-fall) to be taken over by either UOB or OCBC.
I guess this is the only upside catalyst left, wonder how dirt cheap will DBS become? $10? $8? then become 1/2 the mkt cap of the other 2 banks?
Haha, the biggest bank by asset in Singapore and South East Asia, and has bold ambitions to be a leading bank in Asia:
Has become the smallest bank in market capitalization in Singapore.
DBS is officially Singapore's smallest bank in mkt cap, haha, talk about good management.
