Seems like it really hold at 0.56/0.565. I see got chance to hit 0.6 again. But may not able to clear 0.6 tmr.
got chance to re-attempt 60 cents? CPO is quite bullish now.

Golden-Agri's Q3 earnings down 64.8%
GOLDEN Agri-Resources (GAR) suffered a significant hit to its third-quarter earnings, as its revenue dipped and gross margin fell.
The palm oil plantation company reported a 64.8 per cent plunge in its net profit attributable to shareholders for the three months ended Sept 30, 2013. Its bottomline came in at US$30.2 million compared to US$85.9 million the year before.
Revenue dropped 6.1 per cent year-on-year to US$1.6 billion while gross profit fell 30.3 per cent to US$277.5 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) were 0.24 of a US cent, compared to 0.68 US cent a year earlier.
with CPO hitting 3 years low (2167 RM) in July...and small rebound from Aug to Sept, it is hardly surprising for big  drop in profits. As a  matter of fact, would you expect GAR to do well for the last quarter?    do expect some reactions due to the result though. Indoagri and wilmar didn't do better either....But they did dropped after results were announced  and then rebounded ....have u wondered why?
btw CPO just surged to 2600 RM from 2528 RM today on weaker RM.
Seasonally, July to Oct(peak) the  Fresh Fruit bunch  production tend to be high...Nov to Feb production will be low due to monsoon season making harvesting difficult/impossible and costly....
just sharing, not a stock recommendation.

cheers, Jason.

In case you interested.
You can look at Wilmar. Should have chance to break $4.50. I am not vested in Wilmar though- run out of bullet.
Goodluck.

I warned already. But some forumer here think that I am trying create fear and bring the price down so that I can enter low. Sad thing about this forum, people take sincere advice as ploy- the opposite is also true. No one really look at fundamental.
Anyway I am already out at 60cents. Take care.

Gosh! All shortiests must be dancing now!!!
Profit down 50% compared to 2012 quarter.
Profit down 33% compared to last quarter.
Now price can go back down to 46-50cents region.
At least need to wait 1 more year before  the firm's fundamental  recovers.

results are bad
It went up to 58 just now.  Now went down again to 57.

Today is the result announcement right?  Result not good?
support at 0.56 holds...quite strong buying today at 0.565-0.575....hope a Higher Low is formed....guess Plantations rally not over yet...

Down to 0.565. See whether it can hold here till result out.
KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian palm oil futures edged lower on Wednesday as investors continued to book profits from prices that surged to one-year highs last week, but optimism on slowing production capped losses and kept the market trading in a tight range.
Benchmark prices posted their biggest weekly gain in more than four years last week, lifted by strong Asian demand and expectations that Southeast Asian palm oil output has begun to taper off.

My forecast: the result is  at best mediocre.
I warned of unstainable rally and  have took profit at 60cents.
Goodluck to the rest.
