How can we tell if the price is consolidating? More buy than sell?? Anyone...thanks
Volume is pathetic...
when u buy something, make sure when u want to sell, there are always buyer aplenty...
i own a renault scenic, previously, u know wat, come to sell, nobody want, so go to dealer and lose $$$...
u want continental car, buy BMW or Mercedes...otherwise, buy Jap car...easy to sell. .got demand..
same with share...if nobody is interest..even if it is gd..so what? u say.
u sound like Sebastion Chong...i agree, but if nobody is interested..it is as good as dead...i am sorry.
but if u want to keep till play come here. why not???

Not quite popular among the investors... When will the results for the EC Mall and Metropolis Tower bids in Beijing release? Will it push up the price?
Grossly undervalued. NAV is $1.52. A lot of properties and development in China. Many people still associate this company with its sickly retail chain in Singapore.
Volume is low. It is certainly an undiscovered gem.
Give it a 30% discount to NAV, the TP should be at least $1.05.
Does anyone knows the TP for this counter? Undervalue??

SINGAPORE: Mainboard-listed Metro Holdings' net profit jumped 135 per cent on-year to S$13 million in the first quarter. Its revenue for the same period rose 2.6 per cent on-year to S$33.4 million.
The company said the profit jump was due to the strengthening of the Chinese yuan against the Singapore dollar and higher rental income from Metro Tower and GIE Tower in China.
Metro expects the fair value of its portfolio of quoted equity investments to continue to impact the retail trade.
It also believes that its new Metro City Square in Singapore, which is set to open in the third quarter of next year, will help grow the company's topline sales performance in the retail division.
Any latest news? Price hovering at .79c.+
KIM ENG - More than sufficient cash to fund 44 payout
Metro is in the midst of wrapping up the sale of its 49% interest in Gurney Plaza (one of Penang?s top retail malls) to Capitaland. Based on the consideration of RM 770m, Metro?s share of the proceeds work out to around S$130m after netting out existing loan obligations. Metro will book a gain of S$30m from the sale, lifting NTA to S$1.45/share.
Metro?s remaining property assets are located in 1st-tier Chinese cities. These include the 306k sq ft GIE Tower in Guangzhou, the 60%-owned Metro Tower (423k sq ft) and Metro City (350k sq ft) in Shanghai and the 50%-owned Metro City in Beijing (910k sq ft).
In June this year, Metro announced a further S$138.9m investment in China Infrastructure Group (CIG) for a 45% stake. CIG is the midst of acquiring a mixed-use development project in the Financial Street Area, Xi Cheng District, Beijing with a projected GFA of 1m sq ft.
Metro also holds S$300m worth of investment securities including a 1.7% stake in Shui On Land (HK-listed), preference shares and fixed income securities.
With the proceeds from the sale of Gurney Plaza, its cash coffers will swell to gross cash of S$300m or S$0.48/share.
With this comfortable cash position, we believe the company will be more than able to fund any dividend payouts to utilize its remaining S44 tax credits, should it decide to do so, without resorting to asking the money back from shareholders in a typical dividends-cum- rights exercise.
Metro is emerging as a pure play on China?s investment property market with exposure to the 1st-tier cities where consumption power is strongest. Recommend BUY.
4cents div? that's only $40 b4 tax....pathetic!!!!
many people gonna dump them tomolo
Huge opportunity cost while holding this metro for months!
i shld sell & replace with yanlord.
I can't comment on this counter because the volume is inconsistent. Not accurate for the TA charts that I use.
another property counter that's well below its NAV...
