For info . Telenor prices dropping on Norway bourse .   Mynamar has shifted goal posts .   Telenor will not know what they have gotten into until Telecoms   Act passed by parliament sometime in the future.
Knee-jerk reaction - price will drop. Thereafter when sanity returns and realisation that not getting the licence is a blessing in disguise, price will resume uptrend or at least stabilise.
Big drop tomorrow ?
These are only short-term issues.
Agreed, singsong.
Losers are sad but also smiling (" what a relief!" )
Winners are happy but also crying (" what a  tough job!" )

A BIG PIE just flew away...what a pity.
Just as well SingTel was not awarded the licence .Operating in a hazardously uncertain investment climate would have unnecessarily sapped its resources . Witness the debacle of parliament trying to stymie the awarding authority from releasing the results of the tender and undermining the very authority of the awarding authority.   Already the first signs of not everybody being on the same page . No consensus. Going forward, the current winners will feel more pain than gain and rue the day they were awarded the tender.

Telenor and ooredoo( Qator) got it
No singtel did not get it
it's almost quite in the bag for Singtel this deal to develop Myanmar especially with the press release.
http://info.singtel.com/about-us/news-releases/singtel-kbz-and-m-tel-transform-lives-myanmar-people
Yangon, Myanmar, 11 June 2013 – Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and its partners – KBZ Group and Myanmar Telephone Company (M-Tel) – today announced ground-breaking plans to develop the telecommunications industry in Myanmar. The consortium’s proposal far exceeds the Union Government of Myanmar’s requirements in many areas, including network coverage plans and service prices.
The consortium is committed to building a world-class mobile network, which will cover 95% of Myanmar population in 36 months, and bringing them affordable mobile services. Both urban and rural customers can look forward to a superior customer experience as well as innovative products and services that would transform the way they live, work and play.
SingTel confirmation....Bullish. Chion....aRGHHHahahaha... :)

Investors will be disappointed after Myanmar's Parliament announced that it has voted to delay awarding the award of its two highly coveted telecommunications licenses, agreeing unanimously to wait until a new telecommunications law governing the industry is passed, according to a lawmaker. In comments to The Wall Street Journal, Myanmar note that the " industry risked being monopolized" if the winners of the telecommunications license were announced before a new telecommunications law is passed. Interesting to note that in its new proposal to parliament, a clause was included that only foreign companies with a local joint-venture partner should be granted a telecommunications license, although it is unclear whether this new rule will be adopted, or when the winners will be announced. If this clause is adopted, we note that it could effectively place a couple of bidders as ineligible, as some of the 11 bidders are not partnering any local partners in their bid.
I do come to know u lov to do n even declare shoting...sometime n during trading one may win 9 out of ten stk traded. 1 out of 10, just once maybe even out n go back to sq one (gone). (One can often win n sometime can loss.)
There's a saying...man can propose, god can dispose.
Just sharing food for thought...happi trading.
