Hi rbgmaug,
Thank you for the link to stoxline.com.
Indeed Bakertesch is " buy" recommendation with 4 green stars  but some of earlier posts on counters like Cosco, Ipco are not " buy" rating but rather " neutral" rating with 3 blue stars.
Am I correct?
Best regards

Quote" Baker Tech’s FY2012 Revenue at record high of S$98.2 million,
reports ten-fold increase in FY2012 net earnings to S$83.4 million,
Declares record dividends of 10 cents per share
as cash holdings rise to S$174 mil" Unquote
I maybe wrong - my forecast for FY2013, namely SGD M , 1Q13   = 25 2Q13 = est 25, 3Q13 = est 35 4Q = est 40   totalling
est S$125 million - which may exceed the bumper FY2012 of S$98.2 M
(note 3Q & 4Q   -include   revenue from high spec jack up rig   -delivery in Jun13 and Oct 13)
Hope all long term holders ..huat arh...

Just to share this news of what ultra-spec jack up rig contract in the North Sea or harsh environments can command:
USD 655M for 4 year contract or roughly USD163.75 M pa.   If extrapolate into BTL at 20% or USD 32.75M per year,
1st rig delivery in June 2013 - potential revenue for BTL USD 16-17M(6 mths to FY2013 end)
2nd rig in Oct 2013 -   potential revenue for 2 mths   at USD 5-6 M.
Thus additional new revenue stream   from Discovery Offshore (20% investment) can bring in potentially   USD 21 - 23M
this financial year end 31Dec2013 for BTL.
Waiting for announcement of new contract soon!
  Good luck.

Noble wins ultra-high specification jackup rig contract for Mariner oil field
Switzerland-based Noble has secured a drilling contract from Statoil for a newbuild ultra-high specification jackup rig for the Mariner field in the UK sector of the North Sea.

Noble said the four year primary term contract has an estimated total value of $655m, including mobilisation.
The company has estimated the delivered costs to be around $690m, including project management, spares and start-up costs.
Under the contract, Noble will construct the ultra-high specification jackup, which will be a modified version of Statoil's 'Cat J' specification.
The jackup rig, which will have a maximum total drilling depth capacity of 10,000m, will be designed to operate in water depths of up to 150m in harsh environment conditions.
The rig can be deployed either as a surface or subsea blowout preventer when drilling wells in tough environments.
It was due to XD.
Give 10cts but drop more than that.
Very tempt to the CD lucky never brought.

Hi People,
After XD, price for Bakertech fell from last done price at 0.435 on 6 may to open at 0.315 on 7 may. Is the sharp fall in price simply due to demand/supply or an adjustment done by SGX?
Thanks in advance for any answers.
