Singapore's Armstrong, Innovalues sign cooperation MOU-source

SINGAPORE, July 2 (Reuters) - Singapore-listed electronics components makers Armstrong Industrial Corp. and Innovalues Precision Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore investment opportunities in the automotive sector, a source close to the deal said on Monday.

Under the agreement, Armstrong , which makes foam and rubber parts for printers and cars, and Innovalues , which makes precision-machined parts for automobiles, printers and hard disk drives, will be able to tap on each other's expertise and clientele base, the source said.

Both firms estimate that the agreement would allow them to earn combined revenues of S$160 million ($104.5 million) from the automotive sector by 2009, the source said, adding that this would translate into a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 44.3 percent from a combined revenue base of S$53.2 million in 2006.

Armstrong, which has a stock market value of $155 million, has customers in Japan and Europe, while Innovalues, which has a market cap of $152 million, has clients in Europe and the United States.

Someone who knew the MD well had very positive comment on his way of running the company.

I was delighted to listen to him and accumulate over the year.

Remember there were two reports, one target price of 1.8 and another 2.0 prior to 1:1 Bonus. Or now equivalent to 0.9, 1.0

I believe  0.9 is possible. I am holding all the share plus Bonus shares for longer term.

Good luck

KimEng targets $0.91 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!CHEONG AH!!!!!!!

BUY recommendation maintained

We are leaving our full year forecast and BUY recommendation intact as we expect a

much stronger H2 with significant upside coming from SSG and OWS. The HP wideformat

printer program is also expected to start mass production in Q4. At the current

price, Innovalues is attractively priced as the only auto parts company in Singapore

making safety-critical parts, a resilient growth business

Disagree. Innovalue is one of those stocks that I observed to exhibit strong push back after undue drop. Anyway it is climbing up

told by my broker there was 55 lot buying in at 80.5 cents, now I know why this counter was artifically push up above its theoretical ex all price of about 73 cents to punish the short sellers when counter went ex all on may 14.Probably will come down soon as the large overhang of bonus issue is on the way(1 for 1).In 2004,co also declared same bonus ratio issue.those holding till now has made tremendous gain

innovalue traded xall on 16 may 1 for 1 bonus and 2% dividend and yet it is still above its theoretical price after going ex all.Base on 11 may last traded price $1.47 it should trade below $0.73 and with its generous bonus issue coming on the way, there will be a supply overhang and yet the counter shot up to $0.83 on 17 may..Baffling,defying gravity.Eg unisteel after going ex bonus its price down from $2,78 to $2,28 and singapura finance also ex all price of $1.9 to its current price $1,62.Why is this innovalue so special?or is this ex all price artifically supported?

With the price closed on Friday at $1.47, now 74.5cents is good to short........

Why?

Cos if you got at $1.47 last week, u got 1 for 1 bonus share + dividend 2cents per share......

If you sell now at 74.5cents x 2 = $1.49 + 0.02 cents = $1.51 still higher than closing price of $1.47.

Moreover a lot of ppl buy from low of 92++cents till $1.50 ++

Fair prices should be around 60 to 65cents...be caustion when trade as ppl who hold on it will sell if they are using margin account to buy......3 days later sure got margin call......why ? cos margin only 50%....
