I have what is on the media and paper, wait lah. Few weeks ago Indo president went up to M'sia witnessed the commercial deal to provide the pipes to be layed across the northern M'sia. That Indo businessman is also a competitor in the oil sector also. Can link up the pieces? sensitive. I can be sure this is going to jump to big cap status or even include into sti component index stock.

You can type in www.bankrupt.com/TCRAP_Public/020408.mbx

It is a long list ( est 80% down the scroll), so u have to be patient to find L & M GROUP words or use MS find.

Now that the co is a empty shell waiting for assets injection. I ever communicated with the admin personnel after the 2005 AGM about the euipments value at the compound, she somehow loosed to my solicitude question, implying that they were looking for buyers and she said good.

CSC already bought over L&M's entire physical assets and construction equipment.  So what will L&M do even if it is revived? Smiley

There is a BT article dated today (7/4/07) on Sukanto Tanoto who is the one to sue Soeryadjaya and Deutche Bank. I suspect he should be responsible for the fire haze caused by his paper and pulp company every year.

StarLine,

The Tg Penjuru site sale completes in 2 months time after the sale, ie will be mid-June. I called up in end last year and was told stock would be relisting between Jun to September. So the timing to finalise the account book for new lease of life is good.

For your info only. They have not yet securitise adaro into the group's other securities yet. This report is extracted from SGX site.

This is information age, fair opportunities for all.

I think the trading suspension and selling of s'pore assets are not out of options and desperations, they must have scheduled all these before the next chapter. In the 2004 circular, they mentioned if there would be an 'event that the Company decides to change the nature of its business or to release or convert the uses of its assets '.  Yes, the company was short changed  the asset sales in favour of CSC; however if we are in their shoes we know ourselves the sales. If u have no guaranteed road ahead and u are forced to sell the assets to pay off the debt, won't u negotiate for a better price in this economy and property upturn to realise more cash proceeds to pay off the bank debts?

I saw a ex-director attended 2005 AGM as an investor, it proves that he has faith in the going concerned company otherwise he would not come back to see the familiar faces.

I suppose as long as there's no winding-up of the Company, there's hope yet at the end of the tunnel.

Let's hope miracles do also happen in this material world of  $$$.

There was an announcement on Mar 21, 2007 that they sold a property in Penjuru Crescent for

S$7,000,000.

Not much, but 1/2 cents worth per share!!!!

If one had bought 200 lots of  L&M previously at an average price of say 0.95, one would have lost close to $200k.

Let's speculate further...

If L&M resumes trading as a company after the whole saga (in it's favour),

what are the possibilities in terms of the fundamentals?

I hope I am right on L&M. In the same way of spotting opportunity, given that L&M and Interra Resources are under the same family control and the geographical look that where Interra has interests in which i refer is the Adaman sea (between Myanmar and Aceh) may be another exciting opportunity. I remember zaobao put up the satillite or sonar picture of undersea near Aceh after the quake in Dec2004, it was a contour shape indicating the possibility of oil reserve, The nearby region (undersea) might also have the similar deposit. So it is up to u to decide whether to further or stop here. I may be wrong.
