slimsk, thanks.

I don't really like the idea of posting on the public gallery for all the whole world of SJ fourmers to see, so pls don't implement this.

To all the participants of the sharing session,

I've uploaded the photos of the sharing session unto the Picasa Web Album and have invited you all to view it. For those who did not attend the session but would like to see the photos, pls give me your email a/c on this thread and i will invite u to view the album.

Unless Simon dont mind posting it on public gallery which could be viewed by anyone. Else it will be strictly by invitation only.

Kudos again to Simon and Fortunegal!

The best part I like about Simon's teaching is the thing about "taking small morsels like a sparrow".
But this may not go down well with local investors.

Generally speaking, most people are in the stock market to 'make a killing' ie. to make big money quickly.

I remember in the old days long past, when we traded in the brokers' rooms around the broker's screen, the brokers themselves bought big lots in the hundreds, and those are not penny stocks.

In the sharing, Simon did mention abt discipline in trading. My personal faviourite book on this topic is Come into my Trading Room by Alexandra Elder.
http://www.amazon.com/Come-Into-My-Trading-Room/dp/0471225347/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-2098526-6817505?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175140651&sr=8-1

Well, it didn't cover much in the trading system. But I do believe discipline is always important to have to succeed in anything. Forumers who are interested in this book, let me know.

Cheers!

Hi Fortunegal

Thanks for the arrangement  of  Simon Loh's  talk  last Saturday.  It was well organised. A big thank you to you, and of course, not forgetting Simon in delivering  his  presentation.  It was enriching! I understand what you meant - I'm a Secretary for 20 years and it is not easy to organise any event  -  many things in mind  logistics,  admin  details and very time consuming  etc.etc..

fyi,  I'm a subscriber of  Chart Nexus,  but  does not understand much about it.  Do not know HOW  to use it,  maybe it takes times to understand and read the chart.... If you're organising it,  do you mind  to include me.  I can bring my lap top and go thru it with few,  as suggested   3-5  so that we could learn from one another... Pl keep me in mind!  thanks.

At Chart Nexus,  they do have  I think weekly or fortnightly  get-together to go thru  the  chart reading.  But  I'm a bit loss,  a slow learner and though I attended a few of them,  was still not able to understand how to look at the chart  -  untill  Simon  highlighted to us that Saturday  on  RSI & Stokastics  overbought and oversold  %  then I begin  to learn it.

Tonight  there is a session on Chart Nexus at 8.30pm - 9.30pm   @   Springleaf ,  19th floor,  one of the meeting room.  If you're interested, you may wish to drop by and learn from Decipher who is delivering it.....regards,

Fortunegal...

Just curious that you didn't ask Singaporegal for guidance on the study and use of the various indicators.

We all know she is very well-versed in the indicators... seems to me she's the logical choice... :)

btw, i understand some of you guys want a gathering or a meetup. Some are waiting for me to organise (though i really need a break)....funny ... leh.. why u all keep waiting for me to organise... now i know why secretaries can only be girls as girls seems to be better in organising stuffs, not guys.. :o(

And now, let's reverse the sequence. Now i am the one who need help.

I need help in chartnexus software and i got a lot of questions in my mind. I am thinking in ppl like kovan8 and baseer to help me as you all seems so skilled in chartnexus. If you are not okie, just let me know, i got figure out to practise all the indicators myself. I would prefer a meet up of group learning, not through net or email. And pls, i dont mind one or two ppl join in, but not like 5...10...20 ppl. dfusion, think u are using chartnexus software too.

geojam, i may ask u out for FA...

ipunter, what do u mean ladies to chat up all the males? alamak u sounds like we are in a pub.. :p

Just as a matter of interest...

Some forummers may wish to know that the latest issue of "Your Trading Edge" magazine comes with a free CD on the fascinating W.D.Gann.

Gann 'culture' is a romance in itself to behold... :)
