HG Metal will most probably be uptrend till 4 Feb, that's when its 4cts dividend & 2 for 5 rights expired. Even with the recent dip, it still ups.

I admit that should be a common way of thinking, however, it will be totally different when its reflected price development in the SGX market, time will tell. By the way, it is no harm to tell you now, I dare to call that its peak price would most probably reaching above Sgd. 0.555. Unbelievable yet it will be true!!!
If that's the conclusion of our eminent fortune-teller's chart readings using a representative sample size of the penny stocks, then surely their prospects will be heading south. So beware, all pennies pickers:)

Jilong is expected to lose $$$ or breakeven at best for the coming FY.
Here're my TA readings for them -
CG Tech - Could have topped out and may be downtrending now
CHT - Caution on this one... may have large price movement downwards
SP Chem - Could have topped out
HTL - MAY (emphasis!) be on uptrend
CWT - difficult to read trend
HG Metal - May be on uptrend
Hupsteel - On uptrend
Amtek - Could have topped out
why ?!

Thank you for your posting... and hey...my answer to your question is both. Fyi, I bought CG Tech, CHT, SP Chem, HG Metal, Hupsteel and Amtek at 52.5c, 76c, 56.5c, 47c, 33.5c and 57.5c respectively. I believe that except for CHT, the rest are all profitable at this point in time.
hey...are you picking on short-term/TA or longterm/FA basis?
just a quick TA glimpse: they're mostly downtrending with the exception of HG metal and hupsteel; but for the latter the runup started jan 3rd. might be a bit late already.
My stock picks that are not blue chips include CG Tech, CHT, SP Chem, HTL, Asia Ent, CWT, HG Metal, Hupsteel and Amtek. All comments are welcome.
