Gems TV seems to be on the downtrend these few days since last week...quite shaky...it will be cool and great to see if your predictions and analysis are right for this!

In the mean time...good to see your posting and recommendations AdamFong...while for the rest...it will be advisable to do your own analysis too and don't blame anyone should there be a downtrend...shares are certainly something unpredictable at times

 

Dear since77, I can't tell you how many factors affecting share prices as I have not/did not have the time to include many factors in my experiment. However, my analysis had identified 3 critical factors (inclusive of interactions) which will occur on average only 70% of the time (depending on the stock). Please make your own decision and do not blame me if the call is no good.

Lastly, I apologise for not able to review detail of the analysis ....

Hi adam, gd call ...

rather ingenious to fit statistical models into share price modelling...just curious..how many factors affects the price? is it less than ten, same weightage is given to each factor?

 

 

Will probably sell tommorow or Thursday to gain some profits...the outlook is still good for China Sun despite the STI minor correction affecting it a bit

 

If ChinaSun hit target, will take some profit @ 0.68 and leave the rest for target @0.725

 

Bollinger chart shows that the uptrend of China Sun is still going up... continue spreeee

Cyjjerry85, Taguchi is just a statistical tool which is used to determine the critical factors affecting the experiment (in this case, the experiment is the share price). I have conducted various factorial experiment to determine these factors (example, volume, price etc) and the design must be optimised for robustness.

I have used it previously in my thesis on factors affecting Plasma Hardening but later found that the tool can be used in share analysis. You probably be able to find a lot of books on Taguchi method.
