CitySpring grey px now edging closer hour by hour to my opening px liao, any one wanted to buy now from grey mkt min-50-100 lots at much higher px. How i wish px can be lower, but grey px is stronger growing every hour, px is gaining momentem. $.120c no longer can buy now, just my tot.

Teeth 53, Thanks for the compliment but the truth is that once in a while when I dropped in I find your postings sincere and helpful to give me a feeling of  the buzz on the ground. Yes we have been allotted some o f the private placemennts and if it is posssible we would have bought up all the $1.20 ourselves. But I think we will have to go into the open market too to buy more Springcity shares. Yes what you are thinking have been noted by us too and my respect for an old hand like you. Actually I have also heard that the price may be traded up to $1.80. but we will be more comfortable if it is lower - well this is the few times when we really wish the Dow to fall drastically last Fri. hoping that it will keep the price from mad euphoria ,lol. Well we have to be rational , looking at the oversubscriptions of 400 to 500x for the last few IPOs. there is a lot of liquidity in the market obviously. Let's hope that it will be a rational market on Mon. to collect Springcity Good luck

A big thk Q for sharing ur tot & oso the grey px with us. any lobang for me at $1.20c??. i m interested too...few lots to keep. Unlike U can buyin with ur big funded Co (even Institutional fund Co is not satisfied with their placement/private allocated shares). yahh.

 

This time, cdp.com.sg a/c thou.. not in yet, tink tink oni-sleeping ~_~ soo..slow, tink maybe don 1 us to collect Angpow early and then ("loogi" more) C a few hundred or thousand $$$ flying away, so ipo lucky winner can keep their 1 lot. May mean to tell us patience..win.

 

Predicting (Guess work) Feb 12, 2007 (Mon) px opening $1.40 to $1.50 on it 1st trading day or about $500/- ++ in paper profit.

(public retail share is increased from 25m to 30m)

True Blue chip stock on opening tribute day. Just sharing my tot "KongXi ipo winner. Huat ahh......JJJJJJJ.

Potiential upside $1.89cts, sharing my tot and seeing it coming sooner then later.. 

 

If you've lot of spare cash and nowhere to park, Cityspring is a good place to be in - good yields + capital gain (very likely given the current environments). The Market Makers are all very interested in this counter. I think Temasek will in the near future liquidate some shares at a discount to the big funds. Cheers & KONGXI FATT CHAI to all!

 

Yes it is fortunate of teeth53 to have been successful in this ipo application. I know that $1.20 in the greys have changed hands. If you think it through from the major share holders of this Spring city to the future ambitions and prospects ;this IPO is a "must have" for major funds. This co. is very comparable to the like of Capital Mall but with much more going for it going forward. Even big funds and institutional holders are not satisfied with their private allottments. This counter is for the long keeping for it will continuously appreciate with time. We have been allotted our share but not enough. Expect to see the BBs in action on Mon. 12. so buy within your comfort levels and keep it as a long term investments. Good luck.

 

Congrats teeth53 !  You are one that always got good luck in IPO... I am not lucky in this application.  Any idea what is the grey market price for this one ?  Thank you.

Contra sell is like you purchase some shares successfully and then before paying for it you sold it off within T + 3 days cuz payment is only due at that time.

Short sell if I'm not wrong is to sell some shares without you even owning it in the first place or sell more than what you have on hand. This is done to influence the share price. For short sell you need to buy back what you sold within the SAME day.

 

To me, contra sell means making a sale against a purchase without paying for the latter.
