hi chinkiasu,

A value investor would know that this is definitely a good time to accumulate on Pac Andes, no need to think lah. haha..

Pacific Andes' fiscal FY07 net profit +50% on-year at HK$385.4 million (about SGD77.08m) on increased contributions from upstream fishing operations, sustained growth in frozen fish supply chain management business. P/E of 8x is cheap relative to other China consumer plays. And if you think about it, we need to eat fish everyday right? Even if not fish, but also fish-related products. Even if economy recession, we still eat fish. Fish keeps us smart or so my mum says.

The wise thing is to buy up when nobody wants them. For now, we are all eye-glued and hearts tempted by the oil and gas/marine plays. When the market corrects/tumbles, people would rush seek shelter in this counter.

hi, just wanna be sure i got it right, does it mean that when you subscribe for the rights shares on ATM, and sit on it till 11th july, the rights shares will rank pari passu with mother shares?
Eg: Original holdings = 5000
Buy 5000 rights shares thru ATM at 52 cents
    11th july holdings = 10000
Buying rights shares thru ATM is as good as exercising rights?

Appreciate if someone can confirm the above..many thanks!

rights price is mother share price -0.52. now trading at -0.54, a 2c 'discount'....time to buy!!!! talk about cheap and cheaper...this is seller of rights giving buyer 2c 'free'  at current mother share price :O ...truly irrational....

I think if you are in for the long haul, better hold on, you will be making $$$  more by the end of  this year.  The co. is buying over other co. and will be generating good profits and dividends and share appre. for shareholders.  Happy investing.

Hi, appreciate if anyone can advise how to exercise rights on ATM?

Go to which option?

Are we supposed to receive any circular or prospectus too?

I have shares of pac andes before and after x-date so by right should be entitled right?

really appreciate if anyone can advise how to do this over ATM?

Many thanks!

Question: If I sell my shares today, will I still be entitled with the rights issue?

And what exactly is the Buy-In Last Cum Date ? Thanks if someone can cite an example on Buy-In Last Cum Date.
