If you look at it this way, capital injection for further acquisition. So when they get their cash and acquire something new, things will be different. But until then, SGX also have to release a statement that there's nothing on with the trio and it was all an honest mistake.

That is also something which I am afraid. Cos they cant cash out for the trio too. Inno is more of an investment holding company now.

Of course if it is genuine gain because of good investment strategy then everything will be fine.

But looking at how the SSH of the trio price rigged their share holding to balloon the valuation gain, it is difficult for me to believe these gain is real.

Do you know they cant cash out their profit at all? the price will collapse if they start selling.

Investments held for trading decreased to S$12.2 million as at 30 September 2013 from S$57.0 million
as at 31 December 2012, mainly due to (i) fair value loss of S$63.8 million, and (ii) net purchase of
investments held for trading of S$19.0 million. As explained above, the valuation of the marketable
securities in our investments held for trading was based on the market closing prices as at 11
November 2013.
Derivative receivables and other assets increased to S$51.4 million as at 30 September 2013 from
S$0.8 million as at 31 December 2012.
The increase was mainly due to fair value gain of S$47.5
million during the period under review.

Beware the fair value gain from the Derivative receivables, its balloons from $0.8m to $47.5m in less than a year, waiting to be burst again.

alright... then are u holding innopac or u just come here and tell me the detail only?

up or down is not up to us to decide. For me, if innopac decides to cash out, it will go up. Until then, its neutral.

Must know the result is due to what issue. Because it has shares of blumont and liongold, innopac suffer paper loss. Other than that, I personally think innopac should be stable.

just my 2 cents. DYODD

correct. This amount is so huge. Can cover their paper losses. What do you think ? Paper losses are losses which havent been realized. Just like the paper profits. Same thing.

You can cash out on paper profits and sit on your losses. Wait a while longer and your losses become lighter and you sort of gain more.

Should be valued added to the company. But have to see if they wanna TP or not. As long as they dont cash out, means there is a chance they might lose it all.

Two big expenditures:

The change was mainly due to:
(i) the fair value losses in investments held for trading of S$63.8 million and offset by fair value gain
in derivative receivables and other assets of S$47.5 million (9-months 2012: gains of S$15.2
million), and
(ii) S$1.2 million expenses incurred in the Offer for Merlin (9-months 2012: S$nil).

Up or not, see tml liao. If tml no move at all, this counter is worthless and have to wait for the trio to be released from 'jail'. It also wont be long liao.. I dont know why but I have a feeling tml might have some small movement. Not by retailers.

don't panic over Innopac's losses. Innopac bought 31 million Liongold shares in June. Assuming they are still holding onto all 31 million shares, Liongold's share price collapse contributed to approximately $24 million of the fair value loss, without which the net fair value loss/gain would not be so different from the comparison periods. So this a one-off resulting from the 3-stock collapse. You may view this as good news or bad news but at least you know its not some unexplained, chronic loss.

I can tell you if you can get out of this alive, you better cash everything out. Then wait again for the drop. About 1 week later enter after t+5. Should be able to find better deals too. Then hold for another week, maybe run come again liao. Haha..

Your wind tell you too early la.. My charts tell me is either tml or next week liao.. Very close le.. But this would be 1 or 2 days run only. Then soften down again.
