Sry to ask, can cord blood be shared by the same blood grp. Lets say, not enuf.
taken during childbirth, from umbilical cord. then sent to be cryogenic frozen. i think can keep very long. forgot the data on the brochure already.
once got future medical breakthoughs, they can defreeze.
some diseases can already be cured by cord blood. they are still researching new ones.
Sry. I dun understand. Cordblood during birth? Blood fr the umbilical cord only? Can keep for how many years, u know? Juz for my knowledge.

my son has cordlife too. these days most kids store their cord blood....a small price to pay for future medical breakthroughs.

Cordlife umbilical cord tissue banking tech still in clinical trial
Clarification issued regarding Singapore service.
In a release, Cordlife Group Limited (Cordlife) clarified that the technology associated with the processing and banking of umbilical cord tissue in Singapore is currently in the research / clinical trial stage of development.
" As such, any umbilical cord tissue stored by Cordlife in Singapore in connection with the new umbilical cord tissue banking service by Cordlife will only be used in the context of a research / clinical trial. The storage and banking of umbilical cord tissue services provided in Singapore is currently not licensed by the Ministry of Health, Singapore (MOH). The Group is presently licensed by MOH to provide cord blood banking services for autologous use," said Cordlife.
This additional information pertains to the May 9 announcement that Cordlife and Thomson Medical have launched the first umbilical cord tissue banking service in Singapore.

It is now used for organs replication. There's a few success story in the world already. One even had his/her vision restored with cord blood.
I dont know about anyone here. I just wanna share how I feel cos I'm going to be a parent soon. I want the best for my kid in future. Even if I have to spend 5k, I also willing to pay for cord blood banking. And seriously, I'm already looking for cord blood banks already. Its a small investment for my kids' future. We all can spend tens or even hundreds of thousands. We can afford to lose alot of money in stock market. Why can't we set aside some of these losses for the future generation ? That's what I'm doing.
Just sharing. Not promoting people to buy cordlife. I still feel cordlife is too expensive now. Waiting for a lower price perhaps 80c to enter. Heehee..

I am not vested here, but toking abt life and death, tomolo been vesak day,
If one is in pain, or near death, would one think of which counter to buy/sell or pain and loved one
when near death, even trillion cannot save us from this end.
dont tok abt death, just a simple toothache can derail us .
science is getting advance. when life and death is concern, no money can take it place.
2 to 3 k to save your kid life in future is a small change.
I read that it can solve 70% of disease.
