reason:

once tapering starts

=> institutional funds will down weight EMs,

=> funds flows out of EMs to US and EU

=> exchange rate (USD and Euro stronger)

=> Cost of paying back loans in USD, Euro higher

tapering will also bring up the interst rate (most existing loans would have fixed interest rate).  News loans (to finance old loans or otherwise)  will be costlier..... double blows
