oh no...technically speaking...Biosensors has just broken not only the support of $0.815...it also broke the 200MA which is seems really like an impt point...

look at the "Time & Sales" ...there was a gap down at the closing minutes! from $0.815 at 4.59pm...it had a married deal of $0.805 at 5.05pm.... this certainly don't look good at all...

Well like i mentioned eariler.. this stock is actively traded by short-term traders.. no interest from long term BBs. seems like traders are getting sick of this counter.. well fret not.. this counter is still well-liked by retails.. I am sure we have quite a handful of ardent supporters here.

good luck for those vested.. more bargain hunting for those who want to hold BIG in the coming days.

this counter is died.. how to cheong when no insti interest?? and the news of emloyee share option is no good news at all... its dilutive by nature and its definitely not good news for existing shareholders.. lesser EPS and anyway BIG is not profitable yet..

I dun think it will stay above 80c

BEACON 2 is a reasonably large trial that will carry more weight (1,000 patient). "Start enrollment" means the day that start to implant the DES on the volunteers under this trial. "Finish enrollment" means date the of last patient implant. Eg: If they say they start enrollment on 01/03/2008, it means under this trial the first patient implant was performed on 01/03/2008. Let say they implant on approx. 300 patients per month. That means the whole trial enrollment period is approx 3.5 months. If the last patient was implanted on 15/05/2008, that date will be the "enrollment completion date". One patient may receive more than one DES when the situation requires so do not be surprised when they implanted a total of 1,200 DESs on 1,000 volunteer patients. They will take periodic end-point measurements at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months , 9 months , 12 months, 24 months, 36 months, 48 months and 60 months. Trials normally last 5 years. But traditionally at 9 months, the performance of the DES can roughly be determined (except for late-thrombosis blood-clot cases which will occur after 6 months). The BEACON trial is more tough becos its targeted on more severe cases (the more jia lat type of patients) so do not expect results to be better than other Biomatrix trials you have seen. It is normal to have slightly weaker performance data in such trials because the patients are really the more jialat case.

Dear Bengster San

What will the start of "Start of Enrollment in BEACON II Drug-Eluting Stent Registry" mean for BIG?

Hi, most of us would agree that Bengster is already the de facto PR for BIG.  He has done a good job by generating so much interest and knowledge for us about BIG and the DES industry. Keep it up ..Beng arh.

yup, DOW got no direct effect but got indirect effect i.e. more stressed-out people in the months/years to come due to market volatility, high inflation, high food prices, high oil prices = more business for BIG. not meaning to wish ill upon anybody but i think those are going to become facts of life.

hey, the BEACON II news release got errors, cut off halfway and the first passage on last page not connected to the rest of the news. what is this man? must reprimand the PR people for bungling such important news. i suggest BIG engage bengster as their PR man and give him some share options, sure worth it as he will boost BIG investor confidence to all time high. he he

What to do when Dow don't behave? Actually USA recession has very very remote effect on BIG's actual company's performance/operations but the share price may be affected by negative market sentiment. Don't bother too much about D.Bank's warrant strike price of 86cts expiring 23/06/2008. It is still 12 weeks away and the warrant will definitely be "in-the-money". No doubt about it fellow forumers. But not worth buying warrants. If want to buy,  get the mother share. Not point paying for the warrant premium (current warrant price).

i think "buy up" is a concept for short-term traders. those who realize BIG's potential should be focused on "buying in" at whatever price is comfortable to them. this is where the shortists come in handy to sell down (and assume the risk of losing their pants) so that we can buy in at an attractive price (which currently can be generally considered to be 0.855). so noble of them!  *clap*  *clap*

i already have a reasonable number of lots so just looking at adding to it with my extra funds every month. even a handful of lots every month will eventually add up to quite a bit, the broker fees are really quite negligible.

as for the warrants vs options, i think an invisible battle line has been drawn. for short-term traders, you can try to ride the fickle winds of fortune. for long-term investors, you know who will eventually win the war, just dig your trenches and prepare for slaughter.  :)
