ignore what the analysts said....if it went up to $2.09 (or 10% gain from $1.89 i bought) in one year time, the gain will be 10.5% + 10% = 20.5% yield...and if more than $2.09, the yield is even higher....you do not need to know ROCKET SCIENCE or WARREN BUFFET to see this counter as a GEM....somemore, it (telecom) is pretty resilient even if there is any double dip recession (lowest it ever goes now under the worst financial crisis for the century is only $1.74 plus)

based on 5 cents per quarter, the yield is more than 10.5% based on my purchase price of near $1.89....as said before, this is a good stock to buy and hold...good luck :) |

Do expect a mini rally from StarHub tomorrow, i believe a lot of investors will start to jump on board this ship once again. Will be very interested to load more if the price is right tomorrow. I would love to see how the few analysts who previously downgraded StarHub have anymore comments on this stock again, perhaps we should downgrade them too.
