Will there be trading halt tmr morning?
Based on announcements thus far, I believe the likely scenario would be..................................
Contel announces that RTO with Yuuzoo has been agreed upon by directors from both parties but is subjected to shareholders' vote during AGM.

Happy morning. Ya, we can at most second guess based on all the positive sign. No one know the outcome, maybe as what Terencee says Contel CEO knows. I firmly believe that their law firm should know as well as legal adviser and drafting of agreement.
anyway, play stocks must be prepared for the losses. I'm just preparing you for the losses right now. Just in case when monday open, price crashed and everyone panic. :) Cos everyone right now only think of positive stuffs about RTO but no one really think of the downside.
If RTO delayed or failed, there will be alot of security guards and crowd control police at the AGM. Cos alot of those retailers would have invested lots in contel and contel can't deliver. Don't think got buffet also cos everyone will be throwing things around already. The CEO also prepared for it I think.
Maybe Contel ceo also doesn't know, ha,ha. Another 3 days ... (latest Tues morning, they should announce something)to D Day :)

2k lots is nothing, a very small amt. retailers also can buy 2-3k of lots.

How to explain for sgx buying up 2k lots of contel?
There are many small retailers buying. 10 lots 20 lots 100 lots 200 lot. But price isn't moving at all. Why is the price hovering around 80-81 ? could it be someone wanted to exit at that price so they purposely made it that way. By allowing small retailers to take up the lots while they slowly unload ? Seen how fast this morning price went down ? 8k lots thrown out just like that. Disregarding the candlestick signal at all. That candlestick was suppose to be bullish with a gap up at least. But things didn't gap up but open same price and dropped down.
Anyone considered all these ? Why so much selling and left small retailers buying ? What happens if RTO don't go through ? What if RTO postphoned ? Anything thought of it ? Any idea what price will be later if it doesn't go through ? Everyone suddenly so bullish about Contel. Why weren't you guys as bullish as me when I was promoting it ? Why only now then feel bullish ?
Not flaming anyone. But these are the points to consider over the weekend. Will you be able to accept the loss if things don't go the way we wanted ?

Many ppl buying because price dropped yesterday leh...
I think you need to change broker or don't use one. As long as the stock got some volume, of course, there are a lot of people loading the stocks lah. But for every buy, there is a matching sell, therefore a lot of people unloading!
Don't care how many people load or unload, but care about the chart pattern. Contel seems to hold up pretty well, above 8 cts and that is a good sign. Got hope.
By the way, I've sold off and I'm not vested now because it is too risky at this level.
