I mean interest as credit. If I put 50K in the account and didn't buy any shares, do you get interest?

That report says if GEN keeps going up till it will be bigger than all banks combined. I think the report is supposed to be a criticisim.
If this happens, the fundamental of business is incorrect. Say SG has 100 mil in total (the whole population). If everyone gambles and lost, say only left 10mil. There's no more bullets from the population to lose anymore money. Banks on the other hand receive moneys for people and give interests. Every year people put more money in Banks. Banks grows and value of the share also grows.

GEN cannot be bigger than DBS, SIA and UOB right? They are less than $20 lei. OK la. I still play GEN. My Citibank moving liao. I think this is the last bank that has not gone up. The rest already up 8x.
I also want to play CFD la. That is why ask to combine and do together la. |

Futures have turned positive plus the strong DJ session overnight, I expect a strong gap-up today follow by rally session in the morning. Afternoon may see profit taking taking place.

I am a small fly too...using CFD to trade oso... From the past data LVS might has better return from the 2008 bottom. The chart showed its low was only traded at $2. Coz Genting SP does not has any Casino in Macau. But in singapore, i think it is better than MBS loh...

U.S. stocks up on earnings, Fed signals

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. stocks climbed for a fourth session Wednesday after upbeat results from several industry giants and signals from the Federal Reserve about more monetary easing on the horizon.
“The economy in the third quarter was stronger than people feared; companies will surprise on the upside as they’ve done consistently in this recovery,” said David Kelly, chief market strategist at J.P. Morgan Funds.
“The second thing is more and more strategists of all stripes are pointing out the danger of these very low interest rates. There’s a disconnect between long-term bond yields and stocks, particularly on the institutional side,” Kelly said. “Very low interest rates at a time when earnings are going up should be a positive for the stock market.”
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA 11,096, +75.68, +0.69%) gained 75.68 points, or 0.7%, to 11,096.08, with 23 of its 30 components rising, led by Cisco Systems Inc.(CSCO 23.16, -0.02, -0.09%), up 2.5%.

Ha ha, GSP cheong like no yesterday, since AK went Betong Thailand twice to visit old frds for drinks n good foods. Wah closed at 2.12 today. Expected more upside till 3Q result announcement, if no calamity happening till then.
Wah, cleared till ds post, there ar ard 320 posts on ds threat, amazing. AK old liao, no stamina to follow closely liao.
Raptor, AK only back fr Thailand to may kampong, Kuala Kangsar , Perak, last nite. Tomorrow then go back Spore.
Not every stock costing $2 is high one, much depends its performance n future prospect loh. For GSP, AK opines that it is not high at 2, if misses when its ard $1 or even lower.
It is rather risky if doing daily trading, esp if one is hypertension n having weak heart. Buying few lots n run subsequently,after seeing few cents profit is also not a good trading technique. AK is only keen in investing, hence no tesion, just let the profit roll, happy go lucky everyday n hv Carlsberg to relax liao.
Yah Golden Agri is a potential comod stock. Worth of holding as well.

i cant pick up that 30% lol thats why i forced to sell. but only lost commission if i not wrong. had the resistance break earlier, then i make a little profit. sadly, had to lower my risk exposure. what is LSV ah? any of you applied for the GIC and mapletree?
