Morgan and Stanley has already exercised their over allotment options in cessation of market stabilization practice. This means that if they have sold more shares that what is over alloted, and now is exercising their option.

Following this, market for this share will be more volatile and fluctuate... Be ready for more surprises :)

CitySpring px is well support at px btw $1.60 to $.162c, it open it px at $1.61c, while doing so, some1 is keen to bring it px below $1.60c with a one lot, one lot trade. renkon such doing may not work just for today (Wed) on a very positive SGX.

There is also acquisition of other regional infrastructure like air & gas facility, tpt , logistics etc in the pipeline.. and also higher dividend payout is possible.

Based on div payout CitySpring is not fantastic but the fact is it is Temasek backed and then with the theme surrounding this trust it sorta give ppl confidence as water electricity infrastruture are basic needs that will be demanded in times of bad or good unless there is a war or natural disaster falling upon Singapore.

So taking a long term view, CitySpring does have it's potential unless another similar trust is IPO giving them a run of the monies IMHO :)

MIIF is MacqIntinfra in sharejunction, you can search for it.  I am holding this share and last year's total dividend payout was $70.50 per 1000 shares.  It is pretty good.

For those who invested in City Spring for divident play, you may also want to consider this:

At current price of 1.62, CS DY is 3.7%

Compare this with an international infrastructure fund...MIIF...historical  (FY06) DY at current price of 1.08 is 7.4%.

Personally I think the dividend yield isn't attractive at this time.  It has to be much higher then a avg ONE YEAR FD rate to entice me.

sgx 6.80, divnd 18cts = 2.6% cos it's a growth stock..same as cosco, dvnd 4 cts, px 2.90 = 1.4% yield but is also a growth stock....cityspring (gas, water, electricitiy n infrastr...all necessities for local n expanding economies (china n india..vietnam coming into picture soon), its px will b up yoy......tis is my opinion.

If I may say with some satisfaction. We were out to buy Cityspring and was apprehensive that it goes beyond $1.5 before we collected our quota. Thanks to the shortists we were able to fill much of our quota at $1.4 to $1.45. We were apprehensive that we had to stretch oursrelves to buy them at $1.80 as some of the grey market indicated pre listing. This is an institution share and it  would be foolhardy to short this counter at this price for there are as yet many BBs ready to absorb these shares at levels below today's price. This  share is of very significant potential if one will read what the S'pore Gov.has planned for the remarking of S'pore's infrastural landscape development over the next decade. The name "City Spring" should awaken one to these exciting developments in the coming.
