anyway.. its a psychological effect... especially on ppl with contra and.. especially on ppl who have the mentality that they don't wanna lose $$ or lose out on the maximum possible profit..
Suppose the share trades at 2.0, 2.01 now..
if there were 10mil shares waiting at 2.0, 5mil shares waiting at 2.01.. your first thought would be there are more buyers than sellers.... however, say on the 10mil buy queue, it suddenly dipped to 1mil.. or lesser... your initial reaction would be, "oh no, i need to sell now if not i won't be able to earn more" or "hey whats happening,why suddenly 9mil shares gone, should i sell now, i better sell now if not i may drop further" kinda reactions.
These work well on ppl who over extended their position, has no holding power and read only on the 1st layer of queueing ;)
