I have a feelng tomorrow will be a positive day. Oil price and inflation low. Strong consumer confidence and still low interest rate in US. Furthermore here in Singapore, budget goodies coming up.

Yes edd88ks... life is so serious a game, too... so serious that making money alone defeats the purpose of living... money is the means to living a comfortable life.

When one is comfortable, one can start to take serious interest in things like being, beingness and such stuff which we hardly thinkabout at all. And what can be more serious than the study of creation... specifically creationism, but not in a mystical sense.
We will then start to ask ourselves how a peacock could have evolved so fantastically... or why shemales...

Lets give our MM the credit by pushing STI to new heightsg . He is always the man I admired so much. His work is unparrallel and beyond comparison to his peers.

Tomolo will have a broad based rally with STI cheonging above 50 pts by mid day with Blue chips leading the gainers. Leading the actives will of course be the penny stocks. Y i say so? Bcos i believe our MM has got the power to move the market with his at least 1 % goodies.

Thanks ed88ks for the reinforced reminder.

I think most of us will always strive to be as rational and thoughtful as possible. But then, we are also human. Inevitably, there will be moments when we may succumb to our weaknesses and lose our bearing. That's why I said: I'm far from reaching the zenith of enlightenment. Moreover, if we still want to enjoy playing the game, I guess Heaven can wait....:)

Dear victorian, geojam, elfinchilde and iPunter,

Didn't mean to philosophise on how to play shares. While a conservative at heart, I do concede to some extent to geojam's assessment. I do play for qizi (thrill) sometime to break my other routines.

I believe all of us have basic instincts and gambling to win is one of them. So long it does not end up as an addiction, I guess it is ok having some fun playing the game. And when we play games, we must be prepared to lose. The ectasy of winnings cannot be appreciated if we have not experienced the pain of losses.

victorian, I fully agree with u. We must have humility. Learning is lifelong. Look at one of our most famous icons with the initial lky, he is still learning and teaching others too in the process:) Nothing wrong with asking questions on what we don't know or getting corrected. This itself is a process towards self actualisation, an endless jouney. I strongly feel that what distinquished this forum against other forums is most of the forumers here possess this virtue of humility.

elfinchilde, you are right on in expressing our mutual sentiments with such finesse. I love your quote: "if we call it right, we earn. if we call it wrong, we learn. either way, it's a win." Bless u, my dear;)

geojam, I'm far from nirvana. Actually, I'm nearer to the opposite end of the spectrum:)

Hi lausk22

Good for u that u have attain  self  actualisation.Like in tibetian monks say reach navana or something like that(not sure of my spelling).

I also like the SJ but sometimes have to hold back comments when u are confronted with ppl with master, veteran, elite etc...

Like in Animal farm---all are equal but some more equal.

Some could even surge by as much as 100%, but B4 snaping up any, remember, brokers aren't always right Many ppl think stocks now is best left to investors who don't know d danger even when it's staring in their face. After all, the ST Index benchmark mkt, has soared to record highs, and risks falling sharply. But anyone leafing through the reams of reports that analysts put out will stumble on the occasional bargain stock. At least that's how it looks, wrote the report for what it's worth.

The ST has complied a list which stockbrokers recently said that some stocks is worth at least 25% more within this year ? even if they did go up massively last year.

FYI ONI: Out of 25 stocks recommended, 21 is penny stocks.

25 stocks that could rise 25 %

hey lausk22, nice to see a fellow trader with the same sentiment as myself. or perhaps, in view of your seniority and experience, i should say i share the same thoughts as you. :)

yeah, for me it's all a game too--not in the sense of a mindless children's "whack the donkey! chiong ah! must win! everyone else die!" sense, but a beautiful, considered strategy of chess, where a nameless pawn has every equal right as the king to take the game. It's the endlessness of permutations and possibilities.

So yea, even if i had no money in it, i'd still play on, for love of the game alone. :)

'cos, if we call it right, we earn. if we call it wrong, we learn.

either way, it's a win. and this is the true, rare spirit of grace. :)

nites, all, sweet dreams!

Just happy sharing views and values. I like this forum because people here are  civil and respectful towards one another, unlike some other forums where people only rant and rave and perpetuating a Culture of Complaint.
